Hello friends, I am happy to be sharing with you again, in this second round the secret ingredient is the carrot, one of the most used vegetables in our kitchens, the carrot is one of the vitamin and mineral foods.
Carrot tacos.
We are going to make some delicious carrot tacos, they are wrapped in wheat flour tortilla, we will incorporate carrots to enhance the flavor of the dough, for the filling I will combine nutritious and healthy ingredients, carrot meat from the dough and a rich guasacaca to give it that flavor that characterizes the tacos.
Ingredient, For the tortillas:
- 500 g of wheat flour
- 4 carrots
- 1/4 gives fresh margarine
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 300 ml of water.
For the filling
- 500 gr of ground beef
- with 1 onion
- 1/2 paprika
- Oil a splash
- Salt to taste
For the guasacaca
- 1 avocado
- Cilantro
- 1/2 green bell pepper
- 1 lemon
- Oil a splash
- Water
We will also use diced tomatoes, lettuce and julienned carrots.
Preparation:
1-The first thing we will do is prepare the dough, we line the carrot, add it to the blender, pour the water and blend for about two minutes to blend very well, we will not strain to take advantage of the fiber of the fiber a cute carrot to the table.
2- Then we incorporate the flour, margarine and salt in a bowl, add the carrot juice, mix so that all the ingredients are integrated.
3- Sprinkle the counter with flour and knead.
4- We divide the dough into 12 parts and shape our tortillas by crushing them with a rolling pin.
5- In previously hot budare, we cook the tortillas over medium heat when bubbles come out, we turn.
6- For the meat, in a pan we put oil and cook the meat for five minutes, then add the onion and diced paprika, add salt, mix and leave over medium heat for twenty minutes.
7- For the guasacaca, we add the avocado, the coriander, the paprika, the lemon juice, oil, water and salt in the blender. We blend very well and fully integrate.
8- We organize all the ingredients to begin to plate our tacos.
9- We will start by placing an omelette on a plateau and add guasacaca, place lettuce, then meat, diced tomato, avocado and carrot in julienne strips, roll up and serve on a bed of lettuce.
