We all feel exhausted, tired, and burned out sometimes, right? Maybe not always physically but mentally for sure. Especially our modern technology drains our brain too quickly because it consumes more mental energy.
It's not difficult to understand why we shouldn't let our brains drain all the energy. And so, we need to learn ways to not burn out.
Let's see...
From my personal experience, I found there are three keys we should focus on and these three things can save us from draining our energy.
- Being productive
- Emotional resilience
- Taking a break
Moreover, we need to find triggers and tasks that drain our brains fast. It can be our social media feed, interacting with toxic people, etc.
Now let's talk about the keys where we should pay more attention.
We should make a proper plan for our day and live an organized life. Not just that, an organized living area & workplace also saves energy and helps to be more productive.
We need to start our day with something productive. But don't force ourselves too much into it. We should make some 'time out' and break time too.
Also, getting away from screen time can be a good tactic. Our screen can consume too much brainpower though we don't pay much attention to it.
However, we should also focus on how to produce more mental energy so we don't go close to burnout easily. It can be connecting with more positive-minded people, going close to nature, etc.
I think what matters most is how we are paying attention to this. If we make mental health our priority and take this seriously we don't have to struggle identifying mental burnout and to work for the solutions also.
This is so true. I experience this mental burnout especially when I spend a lot of time looking at the screen, it starts from having mild headache which will affect my system and wouldn´t be able to do things. The solution is to leave away from screen for a while as it helps. We need to be conscious of our mental health and let it be our priority to care for it. Thank you for sharing.
So true, it's all about how to direct our activities what produce productive energy and avoid doing what makes our mind want to sit idle.
