This is wonderful. Yes there may be issues to work around in urban spots luckily we have access to so much gardening information on the internet and in books that we can always find an answer to our situation enabling us to always find a way to grow food. One plus is that urban places are often good to find useful materials thrown away by others. Wood or furniture that can be made into raised beds. Containers of various sorts that we can grow plants in - so yes you may have to buy soil but you can save a lot in other areas too.
You are doing amazing things. Keep gardening!

Thanks sallybeth23!
I have a hard time sourcing materials for raised beds, I'm forced to reuse/repurpose containers as of the moment. I pre-planned my planting so I don't overharvest as I only live alone, but I might share this to my neighbors if I have too many.
Didn't know soil can be priceyyy, it's just free like almost everywhere! I might go with composting with some veg scraps so I could add a bit to the soil.
This would be a great achievement, will look forward in the next month for the red bok choi ;)
