La coloqué antes de la de llantén. La albahaca es una planta que aromatiza cualquier jardín. Sus hojas desprenden una agradable fragancia. Un pedacito agregado a la salsa de tomate que vayan a hacer le potencia el sabor. Agregarla a la pasta al momento de cocinarla. ..es una explosión de sabor.
Claro, como les dije, utilizar solo una hojita ya que el sabor es muy...concentrado y en mayor cantidad empalaga.
Particularmente utilicé la albahaca como té por recomendación de una abuelita. Les cuento: Tuve a mi único hijo a la edad de 43 años (Sí, cuando otras mujeres comienzan a ser abuelas yo comenzaba a ser...madre). De hecho, en la maternidad, mis compañeras de sala eran adolescentes de 14, 15 y 16 años y yo allí con mis 43. Recuerdo que una enfermera me preguntó:
- "Por qué esperó tanto para tener un bebé?"
Mi respuesta fue:
-"Porque no había conocido a Orlando" (Me refería, por supuesto a @orlandeto, quien falleció el 7/10/2019) . Bueno...siempre he sido plana, de poco busto, y al principio me fue difícil lactar a Luis Felipe (@luisfe). Una abuelita me recomendó que tomara té de albahaca que eso me haría producir mucha leche. Comencé a tomarlo y de veras que me dio resultado, de hecho yo parecía Gina Lollobrigida

Bien, les cuento que lacté a mi hijo hasta que tuvo 5 años y siempre tuve abundante leche. Se lo debo a la albahaca y la recomiendo ampliamente en ese sentido.
La tercera novedad hoy tiene que ver con la parte ornamental.
Decidí comenzar a separar el terreno cultivado del espacio para caminar, con piedras grandes que combinaran con las pequeñas alrededor de las plantas. Y veo que el cambio de look favorece a mi jardín-huerto. Se ve mucho más bonito:

La jardinería, tener huertas y cultivar la tierra son una especie de meditación MUY EFECTIVA.
Cuando piensas que tu mente es como la tierra que estas cultivando, te das cuenta que en ella también crecer plantas que deseas tener y plantas que no deseas tener y que además le quitan espacio a las primeras.
Te das cuenta que la mente, así como la tierra debe ser constantemente regada, porque sino nada crece en ella, únicamente lo que no deseas (una que otra vez te sorprende con algo agradable incluso cuando no la riegas, pero es menos probable que esto ocurra).
Te das cuenta de que de vez en cuando, uno que otro ser que no quieres viene a visitarla y entonces se lleva aquello que tanto has cuidado y otra veces otros seres más bondadosos traen polen y semillas que permiten seguir embelleciendo tu jardin, tu tierra, tu mente.
Es interesante porque necesita agua y calor (sol) que son básicamente amor, necesita atención, necesita limpieza y muchas otras cosas que si sigo mencionandolas y lo miras profundamente, se desdibuja la idea de si continúo hablando de una huerta o si realmente empecé a hablar de la mente.
Es una actividad maravillosa la de tener tu propia huerta, porque también te permite cultivar tu propia mente y que sea mucho más beneficiosa para tu vida.
