Even though I'm running @hbdstabilizer, I agree with this (not endorsing @giftgiver here as I'm not familiar with it). If there are worthy projects that really help Hive, then go right ahead. @hbdstabilizer helps Hive right now and setting beneficiary to it is a good idea if you don't want the rewards, but it isn't the only way.

I think with RC pools coming in the near future, the problem I tried to tackle with giftgiver should become less of a problem(though still will need people to manage some pools, which I'll be doing with giftgiver). Though new user education about RC and that their first step should be to buy and stake some Hive should probably be promoted as the easiest solution to this all.
When RC pools comes out would that "fix" Giftgiver running out of RC/HP to delegate??
People would be able to join our pool and just borrow from that instead of us needing to send them HP. So those who aren't using it won't be weighing down those using it. Everyone will pretty much get exactly how much they need, no more.
I 100% agree that your project @hbdstabilizer is helping, thats why I suggested a split up :D Or just giving like 5% or something to other projects :D
thanks for your input @smooth ! ill figure it out over time.. ill keep my eyes open for good projects.. peakd is a no brainer so i think ill start with a good split between them and the @hbdstabilizer .. it seems that the project is widely accepted,, very few moans n groans about it.. and that peg is way off..
cheers!
100% agree. Hbdstabilizar er is a good project, I wasn't trying to take anything away from that :D
