The question of this week is thought provoking as if we consider the current realities of the world with different happenings all of over the world, killings, famine, war, banditry, sickness and most recent corona virus pandemic. it begs the question why is all these happening and why to everyone why not just the bad people.
the first assertion i'd like to make is that yes there is a God who is resemble for the creation of all things in existence. the very fabric the world was created from stemmed from Him and he alone is the ruler of the world who is omnipotent, omni present and omni science.
The world experiences a lot of bad things recently just because it has been prophesied in the Holy Book that when the end of times draw near as we prepare for the second coming of the messiah, a lot of things would happen. Nations would rise against nation, war, pestilence, hatred, false prophesy and all would be the order of the day just like we are seeing in recent times.

Who would have envisaged that the world would experience a pandemic that would lead to the closing down of countries borders and shutting down of the world system for almost a complete year. it is just a sign of end times and that makes us want to question the existence of the almighty God.
God exists and He is a bringer of peace, however the bible says man have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and thus the resultant effect is the suffering and pain of the world because after the fall of man in the garden of Eden, Man lost dominion over the earth and things therein.
However, God activated a redemption plan and that is Jesus. the bible says no one can go to the father except through Him and the Bible says also in John Chapter 1 that in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. nothing was made that was made except through him. Jesus redeemed man back to God and thus we regained our freedom and dominion once again through Christ and as Joint heirs with Christ we have the dominion over the earth and its fullness therein.
God is not an architect of destruction and the suffering and pain in the world is orchestrated by principalities and powers in high places who have direct control over the world. the world is now corrupt with the lust for virtually everything which motivates our wickedness towards each other.
IN conclusion, i'd like to note that God is love ad love is God for he so loved the world to give His only begotten son for our redemption and Jesus himself preach love that's why we are charged to be at peace with all men for we to end the suffering in the world we have to let divine love of God thrive amidst us.
