Logically, my father could not understand how a God who was both benevolent and all-powerful could possibly exist, given the sorts of things that occurred in the world. Given that my father was born in poverty on the eve of the Second World War and witnessed many atrocities as a child, it is unsurprising that he came to have such views.
He actually had/have some kind of point. If God is so loving, then why allow all the suffering in the world? Why this whole world built on pain? For example animals eat animals.
I was born and live with multiple disabilities, with a very bad childhood, including an abusive (step?)father, and nowadays I live under the local minimum wage.
By the way, we are not really physical. We existed before we born on Earth, and we will continue to exist after we leave Earth. There is no time. Just/only the present and the eternity.
There is a term called Near-Death Experience (NDE). It is worth to look it up. Especially the website of NDERF (Near-Death Experience Research Foundation). Currently this is the biggest NDE website on the internet with currently 4994 NDEs, and it is constantly/regularly being updated.
I have read hundreds of NDEs, and I still not understand that if God is so loving, then why allow all the suffering and pain in this world?
