Having just returned from our mental health break down the Oregon coast, Mariah and I have ALREADY begun planning our next excursion. What, pray tell, could someone possibly do in the Pacific Northwest?

Thankfully, every rest stop, hotel, mini-mall, and information booth around here has a massive selection of fliers and pamphlets, like the collection we accumulated above on our mystical sojourn, advertising the thrilling local sights and attractions!

From top left:

---Prehistoric, Lincoln City, Oregon. A fossil shop, art gallery. We visited. Very cool!

---Sea Lion Caves, Florence, Oregon. Mariah went there when she was a kid.

---West Coast Game Park Safari, Bandon, Oregon. After watching Tiger King, I'm not entirely sure about this one.

---Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad, Garibaldi, Oregon. Mariah and I spotted this while driving. Looks fun! (Not a thrill ride, just a chill ride...)

---The Astoria Column, Astoria, Oregon. We've been to Astoria more times than we can count, but we've never actually been up to the Column. (I'm afraid of heights...)

---Seaside Inverted Experience, Seaside, Oregon. Never tried this, but it seems right up our alley...

---Captain Kid Amusement Park, Seaside, Oregon. Go Karts! What else do you need?

---Ripley's Believe It or Not! World of Adventure, Newport, Oregon. We LOVE this place! It kitschy-cool!

---Trees of Mystery and Sky Trail! Klamath, California. THIS is on our itinerary for our next trip! Mariah and I are going to attempt a drive to San Francisco in July. The Trees of Mystery, whatever the hell that means, Is definitely on our MUST SEE list!!

Also of possible interest for our trip, I have Weird Washington and Weird Oregon. There are any number of odd and intriguing mysteries to explore in our little (wet) blot on the map.

Start your adventure (close to home!)
