This last couple weeks has been a blur again. As I write this, I am being powered by Dark Roast Reaper coffee from @wwwiebe. I imagine if I still smoked I'd be killing a pack a day as well. Glad I stopped that habit!
Yep, the weeks have went by fast. The plumbing work is almost complete, which is a big relief. The contractors come today to patch some things and clean up. It was a fiasco at times. Case in point, I ended up having to go number one and two in a bucket in the garage for a day. I've relieved myself under worse circumstances I guess.
Enough of the plumbing and potty talk. I have also been busy planning and working towards starting a consulting business again. The last time I tried starting a consulting business I was not in a good mental state at all and surrounded myself with the wrong people giving horrible advice, which I took.
I own that failure though, as it was on me to seek help for my mental issues, and I didn't. It was also on me to be more aware of who I was taking advice from as well. Lessons learned as they say.
So far my time has been spent putting together some materials to share with clients, as well as examining the exact type of client I wish to engage. It has been a fun exercise, and has given me a even new purpose.
I am still at big picture stage and need to work on details, but no need to wait and pulling the trigger soon. My only drawback is that I will need to draw on some of the same relationships that I may have burned bridges with in the past. This will not be easy.
The challenge is there though, and that is okay. I have encountered bigger challenges in my life. Maybe, just maybe, this is another chance for me to reconnect and repair relationships.
It is weird how things work out. Maybe this new endeavor won't work out, but that is okay too. At least I will give it what I have and can say at least I tried. It beats sitting around wondering or wishing I had.
Well, back to work. I just wanted to drop in with an update. Today I plan to rest, get some sleep and let the coffee get out of my system. After a good nap, I plan to spend the day cleaning up around the house and spend some time on Hive reading and curating.
Okay, this post is longer than expected and I am due for some sleep. I got shit to do when I wake! Hopefully its not involving a bucket.

Best of luck to you on this new frontier that you are starting again! I'd probably go to the public park before I went in a bucket! I'm pretty funny like that. Thankfully, we have more than one bathroom. Probably still doesn't help if you have to shut all the water off though.
Yeah, they had the water shut off and drain for both toilets out. It was a hassle for sure. The wife left and stayed at my son's apartment while they were working on it. I drew the short straw and had to stay here to babysit them.
