Last weekend, we got a visit from the remaining upper branch of the Johnson clan, on my mom's side of the family, from up North. I have no grandparents left on either side of my tree, nor do I have any great aunts or great uncles still alive.
As some of you know, I lost my Uncle Scott just before Easter this year. He was one of the Johnsons and their oldest brother. It's a deafening sound, hearing your thoughts whisper through the sands of time that your generation, is next.
I have lots of memories with them as a youth, especially with their kids/my cousins. We decided we should start that back up, the 'reunions' and camping trips. Something to look forward to and to strengthen the family bonds of this new upcoming generation. REMEMBER TO BE YOU! I always am, no matter how much dust is in the wind.
Wanna find me on that other shit?

My best memory growing up was spending time with my Great Grandma, Great Aunts and uncles and family. You learn so much from them and learn you are never alone in this world when family is around!!!
I LOVED reading that you are starting/keeping a tradition alive!!!
Love you little brother!!!
Please tell Mom Hi for me too!!!
Looks like a great gathering!
A beautiful family photo with different generations in it ❤️✨✨✨👏. I always wanted to have something like this, with uncle, aunts, and cousins. And go have a bonding times. Sad our relatives is really far from where we're residing right now. 🙉🙉
Awww... Such a precious Reunion ❤️
I think that idea of start meeting up again is a great idea.
