So it wasn't Muskrat? They need to put something that tastes nasty on the cables, but rats are persistent. They got into a chicken feeder I bought that was supposed to be rodent-proof.

At least you got the car sorted. We still have an MG4 on lease for another two years and it's been fine so far. It has worn out some tyres, but EVs are heavy so this may be expected.

I’m hoping they put in unsustainable cables that smell of something that makes rats pinch their noses. Rat proof, reads squirrel proof, these things tend not to be!

The MG4 is a nice car, we quite liked the loan car except for the annoying lane assist that you could not turn off permanently!
