Vor einer Weile habe ich bei @druckado ein paar Space-Briten bestellt. Wie üblich haben die Miniaturen eine gute Qualität, aber mein Maltalent hat sich nicht bewährt und so wurde es notwendig, dass ich einen Fehler beseitigen musste.
A while back I ordered some space brits from @druckado. As usual, the miniatures have a good quality, but my painting talent did not work out and so it became necessary for me to fix a mistake.
Beim bemalen der Uniform habe ich ausversehen das Bajonett und das Rohr mitgenommen. Ich könnte es übermalen oder einmal ausprobieren wie gut man die Farbe mit Aceton wegbekommt, bei meinen GW-Plastik Figuren hat das ganze damals leider ziemliche Schäden hinterlassen. Aber schaut euch das Ergebnis selbst an:
While painting the uniform, I accidentally took the bayonet and the barrel. I could paint over it or try out how well you can get rid of the paint with acetone, unfortunately, the whole thing left quite a bit of damage on my GW plastic figures at the time. But have a look at the result yourself:
Kurz drüber gehen und die Farbe abtupfen funktioniert, es ist soweit ich das beurteilen kann kein Resin abgegangen, aber man sollte trotzdem bei dem Zeug vorsichtig sein. Alles in allem bin ich zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis, auch wenn ich in Zukunft hoffentlich weniger Korrekturarbeiten habe.
Going over it briefly and dabbing the paint of works, no resin came off as far as I can tell, but you should still be careful with this stuff. All in all, I'm happy with the result, although hopefully, I'll have less correction work in the future.
