Agree 100%,
but I do not agree that it should be the sole basis of curation. I have curated for some of the top curation teams on the blockchain, and quality content has always been the primary determining factor of curation. Maybe things have changed since I was a curator for curation teams. It seems like things have changed a bit.

I completely agree, curation should be based on how much content is in a post and how well it reads. Having many pictures, text explaining them and good formatting. Filling out a post is quite important and many cut that short. Though some curators let this pass, but I find it important to reward high quality posts.
