The blogosphere on Hive is boiling up as 2 airdrops are starting.
Ragnarok
The game developers promise a fast paced game (one game takes around 10 minutes), which is the combination of two of the most popular games as off today: Chess and Poker. Which uses cards(NFTs) to play the game. This is more then intriguing. This is going to be a competitive game, where once a year the leaderboard will be evaluated and winnings will be distributed. (The prices are collected through the year when users spend resources to upgrade/heal their characters)

What surprised me a lot was that all cards for this game will be airdropped on the 6th of January to the Hive owners. So all you have to do to be part of the action is to hold Hive (Hive and Hive power) in your account to receive at least one card and wait on the airdrop on the 6th of January. It was not released how many Hive you need to hold for 1 airdrop, but it should be somewhere between 17 and 170 / card.
10 cards will be needed to play the game. You should be able to buy/rent cards if you don't have enough. Let's look what this will bring.

SPK Network and LARYNX Mining token
Disclaimer: this is my understanding of the project, but I did not do a deep dive into it, yet. Feel free to point me to additional resources/guides.
According to their white paper:
The SPK Network is a decentralized Web 3.0 protocol that rewards value creators and infrastructure providers appropriately and autonomously by distributing reward tokens in such a way that every user, creator and platform, will be able to earn rewards on a level playing field.
It has a multi level token structure with, which it rewards content creators as well as storage and infrastructure providers as well as users. The main idea is to get to Web 3.0, where the content you produce and the service you provide is yours and it is part of your earnings as well.
The LARYNX mining token will be awarded to each HIVE holder in a rate of 1:1. According to my understanding these tokens will be used by Node operators (infrastructure providers) for their operations which may increase their returns.
This is a very ambitious project and I wish a lot of luck and success to the team.
Airdrops will happen once a month for 1 year. You will need to install the SPK Network desktop app to claim the reward each month. After 30 day the reward will be returned to the pool if not claimed.

As I understood they will make a dedicated website only for the airdrop claims, that way even the mobile users will be able to claim each month !
