A Letter To Mama - LOH#185

I have been trying to find the right words, I have been searching to find the right attributes,
but no, my words are failing me.
For one who seem to have words for almost every occasion, my head is blank …
From the moment you knew you were carrying me, that was the beginning of your eternal duty as a mother.
As if I was your second self, you have shown me love without condition.
You walked my steps and showed me the path to life.

In periods where I felt like life was unfair, you thought me this “It is life, it is good and bad. Don’t beat yourself up about things you can’t control, But if its something you can control, give it your best and go get it.”

When I cry, you give me the shoulder to put my head on as you wipe my tears. When I fall, you hold my hand and help me back up.
When I try and fail, you motivate me with words that make me try again and win.

What can I say, you are the best thing that ever happened to me.
I may not find the perfect words to demonstrate my appreciation, but when words fail, I will show you in my actions.
When the words fail, I will prove my gratitude with love and care.
