Hello friends of hive, I hope you are all very well. today I would like to tell you about a very important event that is happening in my life, and is that after 7 years of having entered to study at the university of Carabobo education mention plastic arts, I have reached the culmination of these studies, interrupted almost two years by the pandemic.
This week I was doing two events, the first is related to the presentation and evaluation of my degree work and the second is the disclosure to the community ucista of such work, an event that takes place in the facilities of the Faculty of the University of Carabobo, and is like a kind of academic party where all students who are completing the last semester of his career expose and explain in open space and for the public their work.
Hola amigos de hive, espero todos estén muy bien. el día de hoy quisiera comentarles acerca de un evento muy importante que esta sucediendo en mi vida. y es que luego de 7 años de haber ingresado a estudiar en la universidad de Carabobo educación mención artes plásticas, he llegado a la culminación de dichos estudios, interrumpidos casi dos años por la pandemia.
Esta semana estuve realizando dos eventos, el primero es lo referente a la presentación y evaluación de mi trabajo de grado y la segunda es la divulgación a la comunidad ucista de dicho trabajo, evento que se realiza en las instalaciones de la Facultad de la universidad de Carabobo, y es como una especie de fiesta académica en donde todos los estudiantes que están terminando el ultimo semestre de su carrera exponen y explican en espacio abierto y para todo publico su trabajo.
I would like to tell you that due to multiple factors I had to make a pause in my career, since they prevented me from completing the last semesters virtually, because being close to completion there were subjects that merited the presence, besides, I must confess that because of the pandemic my life and way of thinking changed (as in most people), and as I know that happened to several of my classmates, I had a few months of apathy towards many aspects, perhaps because due to the emergency our priorities change and some aspects lose interest in us, besides I am a mother of three children and two of them were with me at that time, and I had to be more attentive to them and to help and support them, while the oldest was in the country of Chile, which also represented a concern for me. But thank God that period passed and I had again the necessary courage and enthusiasm to go back to work.
Les comento que por múltiples factores tuve que hacer una pausa en la carrera, ya que me impedían realizar los últimos semestres de manera virtual, ya que por estar cerca de la culminación habían materias que ameritaban la presencialidad, a parte, debo confesar que por la pandemia mi vida y manera de pensar dieron un cambio (como en la mayoría de las personas), y como se que le paso a varios de mis compañeros, tuve unos meses de apatía hacia muchos aspectos, quizás porque debido a la emergencia nuestras prioridades cambian y algunos aspectos pierden interés en nosotros, además de que soy madre de tres hijos y dos de ellos estaban conmigo en esos momentos, y debía estar mas atentas a ellos y a ayudarlos y brindarles apoyo, mientras que la mayor estaba en el pais de Chile, lo cual también representaba una preocupación para mi. Pero gracias a Dios ese periodo paso y tuve de nuevo el ánimo y entusiasmo necesario para retomar y culminar mis estudios.
This is my second career, the first was a technical career in computer science and this one I started as I said 7 years ago, I was encouraged to study again because I was passionate about many topics related to art and well, I made the necessary inquiries to find a place in the university, I took an entrance exam that I passed and then entered the faculty.
At first with many mixed feelings, nerves, anxiety, fear and many expectations, plus the age factor was something to consider, since the mention that I chose was only seen in the morning shift and usually in that shift most students are young people 17 years and older, but well, that did not stop me at all and I decided to go to college, I must say with great satisfaction that I never encountered any kind of resistance or different treatment towards me, on the contrary, I met wonderful young people and excellent human beings, in fact, I felt totally at ease with them and I am very fond of many of them, like my friend Carmina, who together with me were the two survivors of a group of 15 people who started the mention. The other three members who joined in the 9th semester, Kisbelys, Raul and Carolina, are excellent people and it has been a real pleasure to have shared this last stage of the career with them.
Esta es mi segunda carrera, la primera fue una carrera técnica en informática y esta la comencé como dije hace 7 años, me anime a estudiar de nuevo porque me apasionaban muchos temas referentes a el arte y bueno, hice las averiguaciones pertinentes para buscar cupo en la universidad, realice un examen de admisión que aprobé y posteriormente ingrese en la facultad.
Al principio con muchos sentimientos encontrados, nervios, ansias, miedo y muchas expectativas, además de que el factor edad era algo a considerar, ya que la mención que escogí solo se veía en el turno de la mañana y generalmente en ese turno la mayoría de estudiantes son jóvenes de 17 años en adelante, pero bueno, eso no me detuvo para nada y debo decir con mucha satisfacción que nunca encontré ningún tipo de resistencia o trato distinto hacia mi persona, al contrario, conocí a jóvenes maravillosos y excelente seres humanos, es mas, me sentía totalmente a gusto con ellos y a muchos les tengo un gran cariño, como a mi amiga Carmina que junto a mi fuimos las dos sobrevivientes de un grupo de 15 personas que comenzó la mención. y también los otros tres integrantes que se unieron en el 9no semestre, Kisbelys, Raul y Carolina, son excelentes personas y ha sido un verdadero placer haber compartido esta ultima etapa de la carrera con ellos.
I must say that studying again has been one of the best decisions I have made in my life, I feel very fortunate to have had this opportunity, to have carried it out and to have completed it, it is a great satisfaction.
I believe that studying in a formal institution in any of its modalities is very important for the formation of the human being, since it not only gives us academic formation, but also in many aspects of life, it also prepares us to face diverse situations and gives us tools to solve problems or any situation, it also gives us the opportunity to meet many people with a diversity of personalities.
Debo decir que haber estudiado de nuevo ha sido de las mejores decisiones que he tomado en mi vida, me siento super afortunada de haber tenido esta oportunidad, de haberla llevado a cabo y de culminarla, es una gran satisfacción.Creo que estudiar en una institución formal en cualquiera de sus modalidades es muy importante para la formación del ser humano, ya que no solo nos brinda formación académica, sino también en muchos aspectos de la vida además nos prepara para enfrentar diversas situaciones y nos da herramientas para resolver problemas o cualquier situación, también nos brinda la oportunidad de conocer muchas personas con diversidad de personalidades y esto nos ayuda para el fortalecimiento de la personalidad.
For me it is essential to do activities that I like and where I feel good, so studying or working in that field will not be a burden, but rather something pleasant, in this case the arts is for me something really exciting and being in contact with them is wonderful.
For this reason it was a real pleasure to have studied in this field and to have been nourished in multiple aspects. I have been able to persevere in spite of so many obstacles, since I live in Venezuela and as some of you know this country has been going through an economic, political and social crisis for some years, despite this I was able to continue and complete this goal, and also give this example of life to my children, not because it is a university career, but because I have always encouraged them to do whatever they decide to do, do it as best as possible, prepare and research in what they want to do, whether a profession or a trade, it is best to unite the practical part and the theoretical.
Today I can say with great satisfaction and pride,
I MADE IT...
Considero que es clave saber escoger la carrera, para mi es imprescindible hacer actividades que me gusten y en donde me siento bien, así estudiar o trabajar en ese campo no será una carga, sino mas bien algo placentero, en este caso las artes es para mi algo realmente apasionante y estar en contacto con ellas es maravilloso.Por esto fue un verdadero placer haber estudiado en este campo y haberme nutrido en múltiples aspectos. mas aun haber podido perseverar a pesar de tantos obstáculos, ya que vivo en Venezuela y como algunos saben este país está pasando desde hace algunos años por una crisis tanto económica, política y social, a pesar de esto pude continuar y culminar esta meta, y también darle ese ejemplo de vida a mis hijos, no porque sea una carrera universitaria, sino porque siempre los he alentado a que sea lo que sea que decidan hacer, lo hagan lo mejor posible, se preparen e investiguen en lo que deseen hacer, bien sea una profesión o un oficio, lo mejor es unir la parte practica y la teórica. Hoy puedo decir con mucha satisfacción y orgullo, LO LOGRE...
