Hello beautiful ladies in hive community.
My name is Amarachi kalu and I am from Nigeria, I am so excited to participate in this contest that is about Christmas.
I love Christmas, it is my favourite festive season and I try to enjoy it to the fullest, I love how people come today to give to the less privileged that can't afford food or cloths for Christmas.
Today I will be answering the two questions in the contest.
Before the COVID I love to travel to my hometown to celebrate the holidays in Ebonyi state Nigeria but when the pandemic happened we spent Christmas last year at home and I enjoyed it.
So I really can't choose I love travelling especially for the holidays because everywhere will be lively and fun and unique bonds with far relative. The next holiday trip I will love to take will to UK or Dubai or new York.
I love staying at home for the holidays because I get to cook food for the holidays from breakfast to dinner. A lot of guest will visit us with their own Christmas food we would get to gist about the year and the joy of Chrismas.
In conclusion I prefer staying at home for the holidays to bond with my family, home friends and neighbors.
BREAKFAST:
For breakfast on Christmas day, i love to start with pancakes for the family. I love pancakes and making it on Christmas day for everyone is amazing.
DESSERT:
For dessert I love to take homemade oreo ice cream 😋. It is so delicious and creamy, i share it with my family and guests.
DINNER:
For dinner i would prepare fried rice, nigerian coleslaw and fried chicken for the whole family, neighbors and guests.
I always look forward to prepare dinner for everyone 😊, i got a lot of compliment last year so I am looking forward to prepare the food this year.
DRINKS:
I love a refreshing after all tbe work a d cooking.
These are my favorite dishes on Christmas day 😍.
It was really amazing participating in this contest and I loved every bit of it.
I really prefer staying home for Christmas as well, but will travel to my son's house if we need to. Traveling there is only a 2 hour drive, so it's very minimal.

Hello @ammyy. I like to stay home during the holiday. It's mainly because most of my family is nearby. Your holiday dinner looks delicious. I love fried chicken, although it's coated with a flour mixture to make it crispy. I also love my own recipe for coldslaw, adding raisins. Your holiday drink looks tasty. I don't drink alcohol, but a non-alcoholic beverage would be great.
