Oh man! I am so sorry to hear that your items were taken! That's crazy they were asking 30 euro to go see if the bag was even there! I'm hopeful you will get back your keys and stone. Years ago, on our honeymoon, someone broke into our rental car and stole my purse which had our passports and money in it. We had decided we needed to cancel the rest of our trip and head to the capitol city, but hubs thought we should stop at this little police station on our way and ask if they had seen the passports. We said a prayer in the car, walked in, and I told them my name and they told me to wait. They showed me a huge stack of passports and it wasn't in there, but someone went to get the guy with keys to the back closet and they came out with our passports. I was shocked! Saved us a trip to the embassy and a lot of hassle, even if we lost out on some money in the process. I pray your items are returned as well!
