¡Mi pasión de vida o las creencias familiares!
Hace apenas 2 años luego de un despertar en mi vida, dado dos circunstancias decisivas: pandemia y salida brusca de la empresa familiar que les conté en la introducción, ocurrió el año ´Amanecer¨, exactamente Enero del 2021, un momento que hice un click en mi vida y me dí cuenta que debía retomar lo que soy, una Bailarina, una mujer del movimiento, del danzar por el mundo vibrando a altos niveles de energía cósmica, contagiando a todo el que me rodea.
My life passion or family beliefs!
Just 2 years ago after an awakening in my life, given two decisive circumstances: pandemic and sudden departure of the family business that I told you in the introduction, the year 'Amanecer¨ happened, exactly January 2021, a moment that made a click in my life and I realized that I had to resume what I am, a dancer, a woman of movement, dancing around the world vibrating at high levels of cosmic energy, infecting everyone around me.
Aprendí a bailar flamenco en Mérida a los 5 años, gracias a mi tía y profesora "Lulú" quién me llevaba con ella en un casa por casa enseñándole flamenco a muchas niñas de la ciudad, y de allí en adelante siempre éste arte aparecía en episodios temporales de mi vida, llenándome de alegría y de ilusión. Ahora me pregunto: Por qué razón no le dediqué el 100% a éste sueño?, cuales creencias y paradigmas familiares me influenciaron para no hacer de éste arte mi gran proyecto de vida?
I learned to dance flamenco in Merida when I was 5 years old, thanks to my aunt and teacher "Lulu" who took me with her in a house to house teaching flamenco to many girls in the city, and from then on this art always appeared in temporary episodes of my life, filling me with joy and illusion. Now I ask myself: Why didn't I dedicate 100% to this dream, what beliefs and family paradigms influenced me not to make this art my great life project?
"Es Flamenco es un baile de los Colonizadores Españoles y nosotros somos Venezolanos". Vengo de una hermosa familia, soñadora, defensora de las Revoluciones y de los movimientos de Izquierda a nivel mundial, razón por la cual les resultaba una completa contradicción a lo que profesaban, que su hija mayor manifestara y participara activamente en ésta danza de origen Andaluz.
"Flamenco is a dance of the Spanish Colonizers and we are Venezuelan". I come from a beautiful family, dreamer, defender of revolutions and left-wing movements worldwide, which is why it was a complete contradiction to what they professed, that their eldest daughter manifested and actively participated in this dance of Andalusian origin.
Este hecho que pareciera insignificante hizo que yo desplazara mi vena de bailarina para dedicarme desde mis 20 años de edad a cantar y componer canciones con mi hermana Manuela, ciclo que hemos decidido cerrar éste año (Ya haré un post específico de esa historia maravillosa en mi vida) y del que me siento sumamente afortunada y orgullosa por haber aprendido y experimentado muchas cosas.
This fact, which seems insignificant, made me displace my dancing vein to dedicate myself since I was 20 years old to sing and compose songs with my sister Manuela, a cycle that we have decided to close this year (I will make a specific post of that wonderful story in my life) and of which I feel extremely fortunate and proud to have learned and experienced many things.
Hoy día reflexiono:
Pese a las creencias y paradigmas familiares iremos siempre en búsqueda de nuestro verdadero "Yo", a nuestra esencia, porque es ese espacio donde nos sentiremos en equilibrio y en paz con nosotros mismos, como diría una gran amigo, el poeta Carlos Angulo, "No podemos traicionar los sueños, porque es traicionarnos a nosotros mismos" y ahora, te pregunto: ¿tu estás comprometido con tus sueños?, ¿ya lo ubicaste?, ¿Lo encontraste? porque ese sería el primer paso. ¿Cuánto tiempo vas a esperar para hacer de tu vida lo que más amas? porque en definitiva, nadie hará tus sueños por ti.
Today I reflect:
Despite family beliefs and paradigms we will always go in search of our true "I", our essence, because it is that space where we will feel in balance and at peace with ourselves, as a great friend, the poet Carlos Angulo would say, "We cannot betray our dreams, because it is betraying ourselves" and now, I ask you: are you committed to your dreams? How long are you going to wait to make of your life what you love the most? because in the end, nobody will make your dreams for you.
