Para este reto escogì dos frases de una mujer excepcional, la inmortal artista mejicana Frida Kahlo (1907-1954) que marcò el pensamiento y el arte pictòrico de su època.
1-What is a favorite quote that motivates or inspires you? Who said it and what makes it special for you?
For this challenge I chose two phrases from an exceptional woman, the immortal Mexican artist Frida Kahlo (1907-1954) who marked the thought and pictorial art of her time.

Debido a un terrible accidente que sufrió con apenas 20 años de edad, Frida se fracturó las piernas y se lesionò la columna, esto la llevó a una dolorosa y lenta recuperaciòn y tuvo que padecer dolores durante toda su corta vida. Este hecho le fortaleciò el carácter y la voluntad. Sus largos perìodos de convalecencia por las operaciones que le hicieron, la volcaron hacia el arte y la poesìa . Esta mujer superó pruebas extraordinarias para seguir adelante con su vida lo más plena posible dadas las circunstancias, es un ejemplo de lucha autosuperaciòn y confianza. Lucha que dejo plasmada en sus pinturas y en sus escritos y frases de las cuales escogì dos que son mis favoritas por su sencillez y profundidad:
«A veces tienes que olvidar lo que sientes y recordar lo que mereces»
«Amurallar tu propio sufrimiento es arriesgarte a que te devore desde el interior»
Due to a terrible accident that she suffered when she was only 20 years old, Frida fractured her legs and injured her spine, this led to a painful and slow recovery and she had to suffer pain throughout her short life. ¿Cuál es una de tus historias favoritas? Puede ser un libro que disfrutes o quizás una historia que le contaron o leyeron cuando era niño.
Siempre me han gustado las historias de heroínas, luchadoras y abnegadas en pro de un ideal, por ello siempre he admirado el personaje de Juana de Arco y la verdad es que he leído su historia en diferentes formatos y ediciones, desde la versión infantil (cuando era niña) hasta algunas versiones más completas de su vida cuando adulta.

I have always liked the stories of heroines, fighters and self-sacrificing in favor of an ideal that is why I have always admired the character of Joan of Arc and the truth is that I have read her story in different formats and editions, from the children's version / when it was girl) to some more complete versions for adults.
Juana fue una joven campesina francesa en la Francia medieval del siglo XV, en plena guerra de los 100 años entre Francia e Inglaterra.
Era una jòven muy devota y dijo ser llamada por Dios para ayudar a expulsar a los ingleses de tierras francesas. Su gran fè y su tenacidad la llevaron a la Corte para contarle 'el plan divino' al propio aspirante a Rey: Carlo VII. Juana was a young French peasant girl in medieval France in the 15th century, in the middle of the 100-year war between France and England.

Me encanto esta cita "A veces tienes que olvidar lo que sientes y recordar lo que mereces" esta es una frase que nos hace que tengamos presente nuestra autoestima, que aprendamos a valorarnos. Nunca había conocido la historia de Juana Arco o no le había prestado atención, que horrible su final, pero se llevo por lo menos el logro de ganar su lucha. Oh how love the Story of Joan of Arc.
While there more than a dozen versions, there were Three different movie productions I remember watching I felt some stood out, but have yet to see the 2019 movie Version or the Miniseries version.

A mi me gusta la versiòn de la pelìcula con Milla Jovovich, su actuaciòn es excelente (1999). La injusta muerte de Juana de Arco es una muestra de la discriminaciòn y el sentimiento sexista que las mujeres han tenido que enfrentar a lo largo de la historia.
