What was your favorite toy as a child? And why?
Children likes playing with toys. They enjoyed it more when playing with their favorite toys. The case remains the same with me when i was a child. Though back then, my parents are not used to getting us toys. Not withstanding, i played with the available one's. I longed for tedyy 🐻 bear and other children toy's as a child but mom couldn't afford them for me. So, i had sand and empty containers withing my reach so, i used them as my toy. First i will use the wait sand to build house, comstruct other things like plates, pots, etc. As if that wasn't enough, i cooked sand as if it was rice. Haha those days where funny though. Because i can afford those things without bothering mom, it became my favorite toy. Well, the reason why is my favorite toys that, is withing my reach. Sand is free and i can get empty containers anyway. Secondly, other children's during that time doesn't have modern toy's as we have them today, so we all enjoyed playing and cooking with sand together.
As time's goes on, i was able to get a car as a toy from a relative. Sure it became my most precious toy. First it was a gift, secondly i was the only child who has it among my peers and finally, i love cars so much. I do wash and maintain it after playing with it in a day. Other children beg me to play with it. I was seen to be the superior among them and that's i came to love my new toy more than the first one. So, this toy became my favorite and i took good care of it not to spoil quickly.
At the age of 12, bicycle 🚲 became my fav toy. Though i don't have mine personally but i rode the one of others. I do go out to ride bicycles with my friends and why it was my favorite toy is because i enjoy the ride. Sitting on the bicycle to move from one location to another without the trecking is so enjoyable. Is part of exercise too.
Yes, the sand buckets are the best 😊 I remember making mud pies with mine as well! 😂

I wasn't really exposed to much use of toys as a child, my grandma whom I was living with won't permit us. As I grew up to age 12 then I was in junior secondary I asked my Aunty to get me a nice teddy bear as big as a pillow so I could use it in the dormitory as my pillow, it was soothing..😅. And one who grew up near the ocean, the sand buckets was something I know well 😁 you could make all kinds of things. Seems you were very creative as a kid and still are.
