I have mentioned before what I would do if I had a million dollars, which was to donate and set up a range of education and business opportunities to empower and support women around the world and that still has not changed at all, so as I write this and stuff the 2nd Panamax down with a huge glass of iced water to quell the ache in my head from the dead and dying brain cells, I look back on the events of last night, remembering the drinking, dancing, singing and the hilarious conversations as I celebrated my 50th birthday with a small group of incredible legends.
And this is my favourite thing to do at this time of year!
But all other years over the last decade have been very quiet- NO celebrations for my birthday and this year I felt the same- that I did not want to have a party- even though I love parties!
And then I was having a chat with my legendary best friend Sabrina who reminded me of everything that I have been through over the past decade and told me that I needed to do something to make this memorable birthday number, actually memorable.
And now that we're finally out of lockdown, but with thousands of new covid cases daily, I decided I would have a party at home- even though I really wanted to be outside in the open and the fresh air. But as the temperature was so cold and due to rain, the plans changed- again...
So, although it was small, it was memorable and it was the night that I needed to have.
And I just LOVE LOVE LOVE my new cape! Thank you for such a wonderful and unexpected pressie Sabrina!
I also wish that many of you guys could be there with me too- cause you are all legends that I love and am honoured to have in my life- even if it is my on line life, you are still all always there for me and I am truly so grateful for being able to meet you all and get to know you on here too!
I can’t wait for the day that I will have enough money saved up to travel again so I can have a belated birthday dance with you too!

I spent all of my late teenage years in the 80’s up until my 38th year working in hospitality and of course, doing the obligatory and freakin fun rounds of parties as I traveled around Australia, the US and the UK.
That all came to a sudden halt when I had my first heart attack in 2010 and in the following 10years had 3 more, so sometime- in fact many times - many, MANY nights I have felt like I won’t wake up in the morning because of the unpredictability of my heart condition.
And after spending the past 3 months in lockdown (and most of the last 2yrs) and suffering from heart and sleep related medical issues, I haven’t been feeling too happy about life in general, so I am very FREAKING HAPPY to have actually reached my 50th birthday because there have been so many moments in my life that I thought I wouldn’t.
So I’m still alive and as tough as life can sometimes be, what didn’t kill me- will only make me stronger, so I’m here for another 50!
Well at least I’m going to try my hardest anyway!

I know, the cape right, How gorgeous is that! I have been looking at that so many times over the past few month on FB ad (wishing that I could buy it/have a use for it..) and I can't believe that Sabrina actually bought it for me!
I had no idea and she actually kept it a secret (that must have nearly killed her..lol..)
As for the mil, creating that infrastructure to help others is fixing my heart...cause at least when I do cark it, my heart and spirit will know that they have done some good.
So whether it be a mil, or 10c, I will still always do what I can to help the less fortunate, but a mil would be much better to help with though...😃

If that money could by safye I would pay with it immediately and travel to your side of the world aswell. Travelling is something I miss. I would spent time online aswell Ofcourse love the celebration pictures have a great day and good luck in the contest
If I had that money I would be traveling to other parts of the world to use it to set up infrastructure to help over there.
Australia is a rich country and even if your are on on the or below the poverty line, there is help everywhere, whereas there are so many other countries without any type of govt support that we have here- and they're the ones that need it the most.
I also miss traveling too, but I don't think I'm going to get to for a while, not anywhere far overseas anyway. Back home for a few days over xmas to see my brother and dad and back here to work again to make up the money that I have lost over the past 3 months of being unemployed in lockdown.
Back to work tomorrow morning for the first time.
Now looking forward to it either as its such a physically demanding job and I am really out of condition now...
But as I said, what doesn't kill me will only make me stronger..lol...
Anyway, must throw my achey head into bed and be nice and fresh for tomorrow (wish me luck..lol..)

Yes and now I have such a brilliant idea to not only help empower women and uplift their economies, but to also make a reuse use of a waste product too and since I thought about it a couple of months ago, I can't get it off my mind, but the project is so big, so HUGE with so many other arms and legs growing off of it, I wouldn't know where to start, BUT I am still thinking about it, so every day and eventually, it will grow into something more solid and therefore viable....
And thanks for the birthday wishes, belated or not, I still really appreciate the thought!
