So this is precisely why I measure my progress in two ways. I monitor my weight and my body measurements. Some weeks I loose surprising amounts of kilograms without explanation(having not done anything special) and some weeks the scale won't budge.
For example, over Christmas, I managed to lose a whole dress size and dropped an extra 2kgs , despite the ridiculous trifle I made ... and I made three of them... just for us. God, it was good. Zero regrets.
So, now that the festive season is over, I have returned to a pretty normal eating plan and even upped my dosage last week to 0.5mg. I did note that although I've been; lucky so far with side effects, this increase whacked me with nausea. Luckily it was short-lived and only lasted a day. After my second shot yesterday, I experienced some lethargy, but otherwise all good.
I really did expect a nice big change on the scale and was most depressed to see I had gone up 900 grams.
Once again though, my measurements came to the rescue with a nice decrease in almost all departments.
I just have to stick to the plan and just keep swimming. I know the real weightoss only happens when you are on the full dose of 1 mg, so let's see how I respond to that in 2 weeks time.
