Personally, there is this peace that rainy days bring me that just cannot be found on any other kind of day. The sound of the rain outside while I'm inside all cold and cozy is a feeling that gives me goosebumps just thinking about it.
Oh, I need to mention that I love rainy days only when that rain catches me at home and in my bed, rather than outside. I dislike it so much when I go out and it starts to rain, it disorientates me. Also, I don't like it when it rains when I am planning to go out, especially if that outing cannot be postponed or avoided; for instance, going to work. Other than that, rainy days are literally my favourite days ever.
I love the peace that comes with it, the freshness, the coldness, the coolness and the clarity that comes right after. Also, naps or sleep during this period are literally the best ever. don't you agree. I am usually relaxed, happy, and really at peace on rainy days. I like to sleep when it rains, it can be so therapeutic for me, it helps put my head and mind in a really stable state.
Reading, studying, and listening to music are some of the other activities I love to do on rainy days. Whatever I am reading or studying at times like that usually sink into my head faster and easier, and the songs resonates on a deeper level as well. I cannot even imagine why anyone would dislike rainy days. I would love to live in a place where I can have a really great view whenever it rains. So I can get curled up at one corner to sip my tea and read a book while I occasionally watch the rain fall gracefully and I take in that fresh earthy smell. Ahhh, so therapeutic!

I agree that sleep during a rain storm, is indeed, lovely! I live in the forest, and you hear the drops hitting the leaves of the Big Leaf Maple trees. So relaxing and refreshing!
