this is the second book of the Anne series and I didn't expect it to be that good!💕

it's a novel about: love, friendship, teaching and education , improvement
for the characters : I like most of them-or all of them- to be precise
Anne with her hopeful view of life
Diana her intimate friend
Davy with his innocent funny questions
Paul and his imagination
Lavender :an old maid but a young girl in the heart
and of course Gilbert
the style, descriptions, sayings are so beautiful that I wanted to quote the whole book
