Happy New Year you all! I know I know I've been away for a long time. And thanks to a few Hive gentlemen for checking on me, I appreciate it! As always, I've just been busy at work (yes still working at home), doing hobby things during my free time, avoiding humans, pampering Diablo (my cat!), solo board gaming, making diabolical candles, etc. I do miss writing/blogging but I see that there are not much engagement in my last few posts. But all good tho! I understand that most people are just busy with their own lives too.
Last year's biggest milestone was of course when I bought my tiny plot where I'm gonna build my industrial-brutalist-minimalist-tiny-home/doom-bunker. I've also mercilessly removed some people in my life who are not good for my mental health. And I'm finally learning how to be okay just being myself. This has also been a milestone last year. I wished I realized this early on - it took a while! It took a lot of trauma and putting up with those who didn't have the best intentions all along just so I didn't have to be alone. I've just been burned so much the last few years that I'm okay with just contacting a very few friends once in a while and maintaining minimal contact with normies/plebs outside - life has been peaceful and safer I swear! The bar is just sooooo low in this day and age and people are even getting more self-absorbed and more low effort. From this point on, my focus is just me, my cat, my hobbies, making money, building my home, and traveling of course! Healing is a lifelong journey.
Tbh I haven't had much practice writing these days so I'm not sure if I can still make coherent sentences. Anyway, I'm just gonna post a few photos here to show you all that's been going on in my life. I'm bullish and super positive that I'm gonna travel again this year - this has been the plan all along! The sacrifice is over - time to go out there so let's see Hive folks!

Last year I learned how to make scented candles, just for personal use for now. I'm gonna share my candlemaking journey in a separate post.

I learned how to use paraffin molds as decorations for my soy wax, more work yes but at least my candles are safer! Never use botanicals or dried flowers FYI. Just all wax here my friend.
It's not easy to make candles - lots of trial and errors and experimentations. They are not perfect but I'm proud of my creations!

I do go out once in a while to check out some street art in my area and walk amongst the living...
I've been developing a relationship with my spirit allies (ghosts) to help me with divination. Yes, I've been walking the "Crooked Path" since Samhain mainly for healing and protection. And to ward off those who will disrespect my solitude. In a nutshell, I can heal and harm... although I cannot absolutely guarantee that my Diablo self won't rule this new spiritual journey. But I will do what Baphomet tells me to do...
Because my shadow self says so... :D

Everyday is magic! We're just building a life we no longer need to escape from.

I understand we need times of reflective solitude to find our dark selves and then take life from there.
This year I'm facing changes in my life professionally and making health wise choices but the timing sucks. Change is inevitable and the cards are dealt.
