RE: CONTEST #68 | From Terrible to a Confident Home Cook

Omg Anis the Bao and Pizza look yum.

I didnt cook much when I was in Vietnam. It is so easy to find good street food so I didnt bother to cook. My first month in Nz was difficult as well. I didnt know what to do with meal preps. I worked in a blueberry farm with long hours, not a lot of time to cook so I bought instant food like noodles, ham, sausages. Oh dear it was so unhealthy of me.

Thanks! I got hungry just writing this blog post 😆 Same with me in Malaysia. I moved out of home at 18 but never cooked because I just bought street food or from small vendors. I never thought you ate unhealthy before! Can't imagine what it was like for you to work on a farm with long hours. I thought they'll provide food for you but I guess not!

No food provided in a farm Anis. I used to work 10 hours per day, 6 days per week on that farm. Some of my friends used to do 12 hours or more. That time was crazy but also lot of fun

You must have made lots of good memories there. Maybe I should be on a working holiday visa somewhere overseas to try it out too 🤔
