Have you ever been inspired by a post? This morning, my @c0ff33a coffee and I were sitting together doing a scroll-through of the posts, when I came across one from @tattoodjay about clouds. You can see his post here. Clouds are fascinating and of all the natural events that happen, one of the easiest to observe. I am not sure I have ever met a cloud I didn't love. One of my favorite things to do is point my phone up to the sky and take a picture of what my day looks like, then send it to some of my favorite people that also love clouds. Who doesn't love clouds? Raise your hand! PS...Sorry, not sorry @c0ff33a It's just too much fun, it almost begs me to do it.:)
Meteorologists still use the same tried and true way to name clouds. Created by a British chemist, it is called the Linnean system, and it uses words from specific Latin bases. Because of the simplicity and efficiency of using this system, they still use it today.
I close my eyes, looking upward, as the shine bursts out loud, illuminating the leaves on the trees and the flowers beneath my feet. I was standing in Arlington Cemetery when I saw this. I snapped it with my cell phone, never wanting to forget this moment. Each time I see those clouds, I see the heart of my life slipping up through the clouds. It used to make me so sad, but, that has been replaced by comfort of sorts, knowing where they are.
I think these may be my favorite type of cloud, skirting just barely above the water, I can almost touch them. Sometimes it seems like it goes for miles. The line of vision is separated by the open sea horizon shot.

A merging of the clouds, making its own kind of drama! Hey, you!! Look to the sky!! I couldn't resist using this shot today, but, it is only because when I see clouds like that, I don't hang around to see if they will sit pretty while I take a picture.
I am still amazed by the sight. Flying through the clouds. I love the crazy clouds, dancing on the wings at takeoffs - which are sometimes called condensation clouds, sometimes vortex clouds. Whichever term you use, it is still a cool sight. When you get up and away, they settle down to dreamy-looking skies, as I stare out of my window, I have to wonder if I am the only one amazed at this sight. I look around and can see that so many have lost that wonder of it all and I can only hope to never reach that spot. It is so much a part of life, there is no awe in these seemingly impossible wonders. When I was a kid, I used to wonder why they didn't fall out of the sky, although, I was very grateful when mine didn't as I boarded a plane with my family, heading off on an adventure.
The splendor of the day vanishes into the sunset. Is it any wonder that they came up with such descriptive words for the close of the day?
All I have are my words, armed in my mind, written in pen, stand by stand. Oh, yes. Still by hand. It has a different feel. Altered not by keys, backspace, and delete, I write, erase, tear it to pieces and start all over again. And again.
It’s my way. I walk out to the deep end of the page and dive right in.

Well, I didn't get the beauty of those mountains in the back of mine. Lovely scenery as well as clicking one off for the post. That sure is appreciated. It is always nice to see how everyone's day has gone.
I never tire of clouds or sunsets. I probably click around 6 or 7 each day, and send them to out to mostly my family asking - and how is your day? One selfie a post. It is the rules.

I think most of people's are very comfortable with taking the photo of sky and cloud, because its always beautiful to watch and sunlight behind the clouds make an extra advantage of backgroud theme, !LUV all.

Sometimes I think the clouds are having fun playing games with me.
Yesterday we have had no clouds in the morning for sunrise photos, so I drove to a waterfall instead, where I have seen quite nice pink clouds btw, and today I thought I stay at home because there would be no clouds anyway. Guess what I had to see above me while having a coffee on the balcony? A nice pink cloud 😂
For landscape photographers clouds belong to the most important ingredients in a photo. Nothing is as boring as a blue sky ... a beautiful landscape is half as beautiful without any clouds in the sky.

And the following is my all time favourite cloud. I have never ever again seen a similar one and the heart shaped clouds I have seen online are all photoshopped in my eyes, but maybe I haven't seen all 😎

I could not believe those clouds did that to you today! What cheeky little buggers! Although, I have to admit the sweet pink cloud is beautiful. Can you imagine what it would have looked like all the way up there. Why, I can only guess you might be able to almost touch it. I am so sorry that you missed your opportunity and I have to admit that you are right because there are days that I have clear blue skies and I won't even take the camera off the shelf because it is of no use to take pictures of the sky without clouds.
I learned that lesson long ago when I went to a hot air balloon festival and this guy wasn't even blue, but it was white without a cloud and I have to admit that it ruined every single picture that I had. The pictures themselves were amazing but they fell flat and it was a huge lesson.
I am glad that somebody else appreciate clouds dearly skirt the water. However, there will never be a replacement for that incredible heart shocked that you have. I have been looking for one for years and I've never found one. I know it's out there and it's just waiting until I deserve it. Medical? Could be possible, but it isn't - I'm working for the government and if I were on the streets I would wear a police uniform 👮♂️ but I'm at the logistics department and my about 4 nightshifts per month are just in another office doing an internal security job and these are almost the only times when I wear the uniform 😁

Wow! The texture on these clouds is strange looking and I must say look weighted down, even though that is an impossibility. They don't look like clouds at all, but perhaps like Lumpy pastry dough. I find it quite interesting and I am wondering if your airplane had turbulence with those dark and ominous looking clouds. Thank you so much for taking the time post a picture for me in I appreciate your kind words regarding my clouds. I literally have hundreds and hundreds because I am always pointing up at the sky to share my day. I hope you have a wonderful Sunday that you begin your day at work. hahahahaha ! yes yes i'm already in hurry to prepare some food, to finish my morning training and to went out, also guess will be long traffic jam on my 30km way to TelAviv
these clouds i photographed from the plane on my way to Eilat, above the Yarden mountains.
Well I we'll say that you should be happy that your commute so short. I can remember living three mile from work and it took an hour to get there with the traffic. It was quicker if I walked. The joys of Washington DC. Be safe out there!

I sit 1.5 hours today for my 30km the only good playlist on Spotify is a life saver :-)
I moved and the commute went for 55 minutes, but, used public transportation most times which was a period of peace without the traffic. Dropped me right at the door. You cannot get any better than that. I don't mind the Metro, it is clean and safe, so that suits me. I do like driving and do that when I have to pivot after work and go somewhere else before making my way home.

When I am in a plane gazing out of the window I am positive that I see an angel or two sitting on the clouds looking back at me, telling me that they will catch me if I happen to fall out of the sky. 🧡
Somehow I knew that about you oh, I could not see you letting the clouds pass you by as they drifted into the sky line. Angel on the wing tips. I know I've seen that in a television series oh, but I'm really hoping it wasn't Twilight Zone!
Popping through clouds in flight most exciting, standing up feeling how many times our thoughts and feelings go along for a ride just watching slow swaying above.

It is, isn't it? I never realized how much I miss flying! I haven't been on a plane since COVID began shutting down everything. It may not be the flights I miss as much as going someplace out of my normal day. It has been a long haul, Joan. @joanstewart and even though I don't travel as much as when I was carefree and not anyone else to worry about, it still stings to not be able to pick up and go at will.

Last time on a plane was 2005 with notable difference to earlier travel. Seats not as comfortable, too many on board, heightened levels of security since 911 attacks actually made me think it a bit tedious.
Flight between London and Gothenburg was amazing with exceptional views on a clear day, sadly I did not take photographs after seeing all the "hoo ha" on earlier flight.
Being told when and where does put a sting in the tail which we don't enjoy not having lived like this ever, who knows what tomorrow will bring, hopefully a little piece of what we knew.

Yes, and that's one of the reasons that I love the #Lovetheclouds community here so we can all share the awesomeness of the clouds from all over the world.
I learnt to appreciate them after having a conversation with mum when I was young about how much she loved looking at them when she was young and so I have carried that on and am so happy to be able to share them here.
You know that there's actually a FB pages dedicated to clouds lovers from all over the world too but there pages are no where near as good as our Hive community!

Yes! Today was like that for us too! I thought it might rain later, but, it decided to be 90 instead because that is what everybody wants. :)
I was out early too and it was a bust. I took maybe 10 pictures and it was of a slug. LOL He did have amazing tentacles though. I will head over to your profile to see what you got today! :)

I like to cloud-gaze, too. It's relaxing and reminds me of lazy summer days at summer camp when I was spending the summer at my dad's. I really don't know why clouds evoke that particular memory, but they do, and those summer camps are very fond memories for me.
