I was so pleased to see you meet up with your good friend from home! What a fun visit, sharing in the birthday of her beautiful little boy, Leo. I fin it interesting to see the children of my friends, seeing a piece of them, all over again. He is such a cute little guy!
I met up with an old friend, an accident! We both met while we were separately on vacation in the same place. I was walking through a park (in another country !!)and I heard a laugh, a distinctive one and I said to my sister: That sounds like Joe! It WAS! How weird to be in the same place at the same time.
It does feel surreal, without the normal surroundings, but it was fun!
It sounds like yours was a wonderful time had by both!

Meeting up with a friend somewhere while on such a journey is really special, Sweetie, and I'm surely you both had a surprise and great catch-up with each other :) It was an exciting experience visiting Sydney for the first time, especially more memorable because I had a good time with Leo and his Mom :)
As planned, when Leo gets a bit older and we'll definitely take him on the adventures :)
