Sounds like you have a plan! Take things a little at a time and I'm sure it will all work out.
As for the mouse; I bought one like what you are wanting and it is so worth it! My wrist pain has totally gone away! Take care and enjoy!

Hi @elizabethbit, yes I do have a plan and hope to take the first steps soon, and that news that you bought a mouse like the one I want and it went very well, encourages me to acquire one quickly.
I think you will like it. It does feel odd at first, but once you get used to it, it's very nice. At work, I don't have one, so I still have a mouse that's the old version, but it doesn't mess me up switching back and forth. I've been thinking about buying another to take to work.
