RE: Merry XMAS! / Christmas Traditions πŸŽ…πŸŽ„β™₯️

Christmas has become more complicated because of our grown sons and their wives families. Well, really just one wife's family; the other one's live in Hungary so they aren't in the local picture. Anyway, it used to be that Christmas Eve was mine and my husband's gift giving time, and then we'd have Christmas with the kids on Christmas Day. (this was as they were growing up). Now, our youngest lives about 2.5 hours from us and our oldest only about 40 minutes away. His wife has a huge family and her mom's birthday is also on Christmas Eve. Consequently, our family gatherings from their viewpoint has always taken 2nd place to her family. I used to think it was just me thinking that, but now my younger son has noticed it as well. It's okay; we get together with whoever is available and figure out the rest as we go. So I guess, there is no real tradition for us because it's all so up in the air. This year, we've been hit with a huge ice storm that has us all stuck in our homes; travel is dangerous. I'm thinking we will have our Christmas on another weekend with the kids as we can.

I'd love to see the ugly sweater winner pic! You should share! Take care and have a very Merry Christmas!πŸ€—πŸ’œπŸŽ„β˜ƒοΈ
