We are to give, as you stated, with a cheerful heart! There is nothing wrong with saying no; God understands; it's often the people who don't.

Choosing what to say yes to and what to say no to, is indeed a hard thing to do, but, with prayer and good intentions, we can know we've done what we need to do.

    Very well said, praying and asking God for direction on whether to give or not is also a good one. We just have to learn to say no sometimes if not people would take advantage.
