I know that the call for the community contest #233 Come closed, but I didn't want to share with you something that, even I was surprised when I realized.
It turns out that I do, but a collection, at least a preference for the objects made of wicker.
I do not know when my love for the objects made with this material began. At first, it had a basket. Then I brought another. They are these two that they see in the photograph.
In them, when they were little, they used to sleep two of my cats. I remember that, when they began to grow, they no longer fit in the basket and fought to bed in it.
I don't know why they never wanted to sleep in the other basket.
It happens that every time I pass through a place where they sell these types of baskets, I bought one. Hence, without proposing it, I made this small collection of baskets.
And, if they were only the baskets, I would not have made this post. It happens that when I take the first photograph, I realized that there are more than wicker baskets in my room.
In the first image, in addition to the mini baskets, there is a wicker búcar.
Look what beauty.
As soon as this mini picnic basket is observed. Look how beauty of ornament, made of wicker and varnishing to give that wooden look.
They also admire this beautiful lamp. Note how the artist changed the fabric or plastic of the lamp for a wicker fabric. In this case, painted white to give the appearance of false fabric.
Yes. I realized that my fondness for wicker has led me to get several and diverse ornaments of this versatile material.
I took this collection by surprise and, even if I am out of competition, I hope it has been of interest and enjoy it.

Sé que ya la convocatoria a el concurso de la comunidad #233 recién cerró, pero no quería dejar de compartir con ustedes algo de lo que, hasta yo me sorprendí al darme cuenta.
Resulta ser que sí tengo, sino una colección, al menos una preferencia por los objetos hecho de mimbre.
No sé cuándo comenzó mi afición por los objetos confeccionados con este material. Al principio, tenía una cesta. Luego traje otra. Son estas dos que ven en la fotografía.
En ellas, cuando eran pequeños, se acostaban a dormir dos de mis gatos. Me acuerdo que, al comenzar a crecer, ya no cabían en la cesta y se peleaban por acostarse en ella.
No sé por qué nunca quisieron dormir en la otra cesta.
Sucede que cada vez que paso por algún local donde venden este tipo de cestas, compraba una. De ahí que, sin proponérmelo, me hice de esta pequeña colección de cestas.
Y, si solo fueran las cestas, no hubiera hecho este post. Sucede que al tomar la primera fotografía, me di cuenta de que hay más que cestas de mimbre en mi sala.
En la primera imagen, además de las mini cestas, esta un búcaro de mimbre.
Miren qué belleza.
Nada más obserben esta mini cesta de picnic. Miren qué belleza de adorno, hecha de mimbre y barnizada para darle ese look de madera.
También admiren esta preciosa lámpara. Observen cómo el artista cambió la tela o plástico de la lámpara por un tejido de mimbre. En este caso, pintado de blanco para darle la apariencia de falsa tela.
Sí. Me di cuenta que mi afición por el mimbre me ha llevado a hacerme de varios y diversos adornos de este versátil material.
Me tomó por sorpresa esta colección y, aunque esté fuera de concurso, espero que les haya sido de interés y lo disfrutaran.
