What's the Most Useful Thing You Own?
This is an interesting question, which I will be part of in giving my response to, for the contest, and as part of my reality.
For everything I've come to acquire in life, all are so precious and Useful to me, but I will be sharing one of which is so useful that I own, and that is "my makeup box".
Being a graduate and a degree holder of English and Literary Studies (ELS) in the department of English has been one of my dreams, but the need to own a skill became my greatest dream from childhood, and it was the next in line for me. During my childhood,it has been my passion to acquire a skill, not just a skill, but to become a Beautician/Makeup Artist.
After acquiring my first degree, I enrolled myself in a local beauty school where I was taught all that I needed to know about makeup both theory and practical aspect of it. In return I gave in my best to attain greater height and the skill which lasted to a year and two months. At the end of the skill, I was awarded certificate of participation and as a makeup artist.
Haven acquired the skill, the urge to own a makeup box gave rise, but I have no funds to purchase one. I worked, earned, and saved up some money which I used to purchase my makeup materials and box.
Being a makeup artist, and owning a makeup box gave me lots of opportunities and work. I was opportune to do lots of makeup work for friends and clients, I got to travel and deliver my makeup work both indoors, outdoors and home services. Also being in the field gave me the opportunity to train not less than eight (8) teenage students whose interest were to acquire the same skill.
As Ladies of Hive, I urge us all that at what cost, and no matter what, it is important to own a skill, no matter the kind of skill, which will help us in our daily life. And being in my late 20s I am so happy to be self employed, all thanks to skill acquisition.
My makeup box is the most Useful thing that I own.

Seems like you sure have Great skills in makeup and knowing beauty. I am just the opposit, I know nothing of makeup 🙈
I do mascara and might use a little roughe or pouder. But If I am going on any party or event my best friend does my makeup 😁
My mom gave me a makeup box actually with all kinds of makeup a christmas years ago.
I still haven't used it, Mabye a lipgloss but that is it.
So I could absolutly use your skills and advice 😉.
