A lot have happened since last I wrote anything here. Me and @pusen have move into and settled down in our new apartment and we loooove it so much here. I have also bought a gaming laptop, I went to Spain to visit my best friend (and did some wine tasting there), me and @pusen slept in a birdbox and everything about the roadtrip to California and Nevada are finally booked.
The roadtrip are coming up and we have now a fully booked plan in the US.
We are staying at hotels in LA, Vegas, Mammoth Lake and San Fransisco, but are also visiting Palm Springs, Grand Canyon, Yosmite and Napa Valley.
We have so much planned in every place. I don't think I have planned so much for a vacation ever. I usually find things to do and where to eat in beforehand, but never book so much things to do. But then again, I have never been so long on vacation either.
We have booked Wine tasting in Napa Valley (I love wine), Chippendales (I travel with two very single girls, haha), Club crawl and celebrating 4th July, Universal Studios and Alcatraz. We have also found a lot to see on the way we are driving. I can't wait to show you guys. I hopefully will show you pictures from every place.
I am nervous about how the temperatures vary so much. From Vegas to Mammoth Lake is like two different places in the world. If there is a place we should wear jackets is Mammoth lake, and if there is a place to not: it's Vegas. We don't think we will go out in Vegas. But if we are visiting Grand Canyon I just hope we don't die. It's going to be hard for a Norwegian in that kind of hot weather.
Hope everyone out there are doing well. Are you having anything planned for this summer?
If you have any great tips on what to do in California in general, scream it out in the comments!
Great you are back in action here. You've been busy and have a lot to look forward to with your trip. You will survive the weather fine, just might take some adjusting. My summer is looking pretty basic this year. It's just me now and I'm not in the mood to travel nor do I really have a ton of extra money to be spending on big trips right now. My time will come eventually though.
I've never been to the west coast, so sadly I can't offer any ideas. I would however like to tag somebody that may have some useful info for you @nuthman

We have been to the Grand Canyon twice some years back and really enjoyed it! It was SO hot when we went, but I don't know how it is right now. We always stop in Lake Havasu for the night when going down there. You can get a room by the lake and rent paddle boats if you want. It is a fun and relaxing time. Depends on what you are in to!
I live in Los Angeles, so I get a bit blinded to the local stuff. A lot of people like to go up and hike around the Hollywood sign area. there is a trail going up where people take pictures. It is a pretty decent hike. Another great place is the Griffith Observatory in Griffith Park. You can see all of LA from up there. You see this view in a lot of movies.
I am giving advice based on having a family, so it might not be as exciting for a group of single girls. haha! Depends on what you like to do.
