Hello beautiful ladies of Hive, for this week contest #215 this is my entry. Do you have a Christmas memory that feels magical even now?
It was just few days to Christmas and for some months we haven't been paid our monthly pay at work. I would have stopped work but it was unlike our organization to hold staffs salary so I was willing to still hold on. At this period I was completely down financially and here is Christmas just by the corner with nothing tangible in place. At some point I almost gave up and was accepting my fate of not celebrating the season but something inside of me kept assuring me all would be well.
Just three days to Christmas I went to work as usual and wasn't expecting anything to happen but then a customer who I called God sent came to the office and upon leaving handed me an envelope. My curiosity made me open it quick and honestly I was surprised after counting the money which was about 50HBD. To be sincere I cried because tell me how will someone who hasn't set eyes on me for almost a year came and handed such amount to me and at the period I most needed it? It was divine and indeed God sent. I celebrated my Christmas the way I wanted and it was magical to me cause I least expected it and yes the money was more than enough cause as of the time things were less expensive and 50HBD was a whole lot of money.
What's something I want to prioritize in the coming years?
A lot happened this year that actually took my attention off so many stuffs which I won't want it to repeat itself the coming year so for that, I want to first prioritize my mental health which is important to me. I find myself being unhappy due to some circumstances which affected my mental health and at some point I almost went into depression but glad I came out of it real fast thanks to my mentor/counselor. I was advised to let things off my mind quick, move around to new location even within my city, take my yoga classes regularly and above all smile as often as possible too.

Back in time, 50$ or 50HBD was a lot and that customer was your Santa. Sometimes people's kindness can change other people's like and you had met a very kind person back then...
I am also focusing on my health and prioritizing my mental health fully...
