¡Hola queridas Damas de Hive! Espero que se encuentren todas muy bien. Hoy paso por acá para unirme a la iniciativa semanal que nos propuso @kerrislravenhill con temas muy interesantes para abordar. Soy una apasionada de la lectura, así que me emocioné cuando leí las consignas, la primera es muy ingeniosa y todo un desafío que me encantaría lograr, así que veamos que sale. Para esta primera consigna elegí a mi amiga @naath de inspiración para crear la sinopsis con los temas que sé que le interesan, como la psicología y los thrillers.
Escribe una sinopsis ficticia de un Hivian que sigas en función de sus intereses en cualquier entorno, ya sea histórico, romántico, thriller de acción, aventuras u otro género. Una delegación adicional de 500 HP para esta, de 15 días de duración.
Nathalia es una joven psicóloga que le gusta ayudar a sus pacientes a resolver los traumas que acarrean. Desde pequeña que lidia con los suyos y eso la llevó a interesarse en el tema. A lo largo de su carrera fue adquiriendo herramientas suficientes para entender la mente humana y los comportamientos del ser humano en condiciones de estrés postraumático. En una de sus sesiones conoce a un nuevo paciente, un hombre reservado al que le cuesta expresar sus emociones y sentimientos, y que se termina convirtiendo en un misterio para ella. Mientras más se esfuerza por ayudarlo, más parece cerrarse, esto la desconcierta porque no logra entender cuál es su problema. Sin embargo, él se sigue presentando a las sesiones aunque no dice nada. Nathalia está dispuesta a lo que sea para llegar al fondo del asunto, lo que no sabe es que hay misterios que es mejor dejarlos sin resolver porque podrían ser peligrosos.
¿Podrá Nathalia descubrir lo que se esconde en la mente de esta persona? ¿O será demasiado tarde para cualquier tipo de salvación?
Para aquellos que prefieren leer que escribir, ¿cuáles son sus libros favoritos actualmente para ese pequeño "escape mental" o iluminación? ¿Qué te atrajo a este libro y por qué?
Como lectora asidua tengo muchos libros favoritos y cada uno por diferentes razones, como el primer libro que siento que leí por placer que fue la saga Crepúsculo, sé que no son los mejores libros de la historia, pero también sé que les debo mucho porque fueron la llave que me abrió las puertas a este mundo ficticio, que resulta ser un gran escape en mi vida cotidiana. A mí me gusta decir que viajo a través de los libros y en parte es cierto.
Los géneros que más me gustan son el romance y la fantasía, aunque el año pasado descubrí los de ficción histórica y todos los que leí los amé. También tengo una especie de amor/odio con los thrillers. Aunque disfruto de cualquier género la verdad, mi abanico de lecturas es muy amplio actualmente. También le tengo un gran amor a las distopías, una de mis trilogías favoritas es la de Los juegos del hambre por todo el contexto y la carga política que hay detrás que lo hace estar vigente en cada época. Es una distopía juvenil muy cruda y hermosamente escrita, siempre que puedo la recomiendo.
Pero sin dudas, los que me producen una vía de escape segura y disfruto mucho leer para relajarme son los libros de comedia romántica, una buena historia de amor que me haga vibrar, suspirar y reír siempre me recarga la energía. Debería leer una pronto porque estoy leyendo puros libros pesados, pero super interesantes. Me gusta ir variando, por lo que ya es momento de alguna romcom. El fin de semana terminé un thriller policial que me mantuvo muy atrapada, estuvo increíble, se llama El juez y el pescador y pronto les estaré compartiendo la reseña.
Y bueno, en cuanto a fantasía una de mis sagas favoritas es la de Trono de cristal de la autora Sarah J. Maas. Soy una gran fan de esta autora, leí todos los libros que publicó hasta el momento y estoy a la espera de que siga publicando la continuación de una saga muy buena también que se llama Una corte de rosas y espinas. Así que diría que estos libros mencionados son y siguen siendo de mis favoritos, igual me estoy cociendo los dedos para no nombrar más porque sino la publicación se haría extensa y no quiero cansarlos tanto, para eso vayan a leer un libro 😂.

Hello dear ladies of Hive! I hope you are all feeling great. Today I'm stopping by to join the weekly initiative proposed by @kerrislravenhill with very interesting topics to tackle. I am passionate about reading, so I got excited when I read the slogans, the first one is very ingenious and a challenge that I would love to achieve, so let's see what comes out. For this first slogan I chose my friend @naath for inspiration to create the synopsis with the topics I know she is interested in, like psychology and thrillers.
Write a fictional synopsis of a Hivian you follow based on his or her interests in any setting whether it be historical, romantic, action thriller, adventure, or other genre. A bonus 500HP delegation for this one, 15 days duration.
Nathalia is a young psychologist who likes to help her patients resolve the traumas they carry. She has been dealing with her own traumas since she was a child and that led her to become interested in the subject. Throughout her career she has acquired enough tools to understand the human mind and human behaviors in conditions of post-traumatic stress. In one of her sessions she meets a new patient, a reserved man who finds it difficult to express his emotions and feelings, and who ends up becoming a mystery to her. The more she tries to help him, the more he seems to close himself off, which puzzles her because she cannot understand what his problem is. However, he keeps showing up for the sessions even though he doesn't say anything. Nathalia is willing to do whatever it takes to get to the bottom of the matter, what she doesn't know is that there are mysteries that are best left unsolved because they could be dangerous.
Will Nathalia be able to discover what is hidden in this person's mind? Or will it be too late for any kind of salvation?
For those who would rather read than write, what are your current favorite book reads for that little "mental escape" or enlightenment? What got you into this book and why?
As a regular reader I have many favorite books and each one for different reasons, like the first book I feel I read for pleasure which was the Twilight serie, I know they are not the best books ever, but I also know I owe them a lot because they were the key that opened the doors to this fictional world, which happens to be a great escape in my daily life. I like to say that I travel through books and it's partly true.
The genres I like best are romance and fantasy, although I discovered historical fiction ones last year and all the ones I read I loved. I also have a sort of love/hate thing with thrillers. Although I enjoy any genre really, my range of reading is very wide at the moment. I also have a great love for dystopias, one of my favorite trilogies is The Hunger Games because of all the context and political baggage behind it that makes it relevant in every era. It is a very raw and beautifully written youth dystopia, I always recommend it whenever I can.
But without a doubt, the ones that give me a safe escape and I really enjoy reading to relax are romantic comedy books, a good love story that makes me vibrate, sigh and laugh always recharges my energy. I should read one soon because I'm reading a lot of heavy, but super interesting books. I like to vary, so it's about time for some romcom. Over the weekend I finished a police thriller that kept me really gripped, it was amazing, it's called The Judge and the Fisherman and I'll be sharing the review soon.
And well, when it comes to fantasy, one of my favorite series is Throne of Glass by the author Sarah J. Maas. I'm a big fan of this author, I read all the books she published so far and I'm waiting for her to continue publishing the continuation of a very good serie also called A Court of Thorns and Roses. So I would say that these books mentioned are and still are one of my favorites, I'm still cooking my fingers not to name more because otherwise the publication would become extensive and I don't want to tire you so much, for that go read a book 😂.

Enjoyed the set up for our protagonist for potential ❤️. A medical romance? I'm a nurse so I'd find that fair game. 😄 Twilight series? As an old Goth-'ish' gal, emphasis on the '-ish', it okay but don't tell my dark sisters that I read the first one. Yet remain faithful to the original Bram Stoker novel. Sarah Maas is huge, I got her on my growing list of Must Reads, where I will ever find the time 😁.
