WISDOM

in Ladies of Hive4 months ago

Greetings great people, hope my entry will inspire all

Once upon a time in a small village called Odom, there lived a young boy named obi. He likes knowing new things; he was very curious about learning. He often asks his elders questions. He spent most of his days asking questions and seeking answers from the village elders.

One day, obi went to the wisestelder in the village to seek more knowledge. The name of the elder is Okpala; he is a very kind aged man known for his profound wisdom and insight, gained from many years of learning, searching, life experiences, and meditation.

Obi asked Okpala, the wisest elder, "What is wisdom?"
Okpala smiled, looking at obi, and said, "Wisdom is like a fat-growing tree; it grows slowly but becomes strong." . He went further, telling him that wisdom is not just about knowing things; it's about understanding life and things of life.

Obi being curious to learn, ask him more questions.
Okpala told him stories about his life; he shared both his happy and sad moments of life with him.
Okpala also told him that wisdom comes from living; it comes from both trying and failing; it comes from being kind and helping others. Being able to think properly before doing something. Knowing how to treat others and making good decisions.

Over the weeks, obi went back to Okpala many times, seeking to understand the mysteries of wisdom. Okpala shared his own life experience and struggles with him.
Obi listened carefully; he started understanding wisdom; he realised it's not about being perfect; it's about being brave.
Year passed, and obi grew into a very big man full of wisdom. He became wise like Okpala; people respect him for his kind heart and good ideas.
People now go to him for advice, and he shares his wisdom with them.

One day, the village faced a big problem; there was no rain in the village for one year, and their crops were dying. There was not enough food in the village. They were only feeling the hotness of the sun.
The villagers were scared they didn't know what to do or who to solve their problem.
Okpala stood up and said that they must be calm; let them come together and think wisely. All the villagers listened to him.
They had a meeting, and obi suggested digging wells for water so everybody can fetch water from there and water their plants till rain starts falling.

The villagers listened to obi; they worked together and dragged twelve wells of water in different directions.
They began to have enough water and food while also watering their plants.
The villagers were grateful to obi; they said obi is wise like Okpala.
Obi smiled; he knew wisdom is like a river; it passes from one person to another. Obi was very happy with his ability to think, and Okpala was very proud of him also.
Obi later became the leader of Odom village; he always thought wisely and helped the villagers in times of need.

Some years later, obi became old; he always tells stories of his life to young ones and shares his wisdom with them too.

The story of wisdom continued in the village; it passed from one generation to another; the young ones he told his stories always re
member him and his words.
