SUSTAINABLE FASHION: Let's Talk About my choice.#226 LOH

The fashion industry is growing in popularity as people become more environmentally conscious, leading to a rise in sustainable fashion. However, sustainable fashion can often be expensive, making it challenging for budget-conscious individuals like myself.

Understanding this, I seek alternative ways to dress stylishly and ethically without breaking the bank. One approach I take is buying thrifted clothing, which allows me to find unique and affordable pieces."

Thrifted clothing is budget-friendly, allowing me to save money for other things. Sometimes, I create my own clothes by purchasing materials and having my stylist recreate a desired style. While this isn't free, it's less expensive than buying the original design. Living in a city where I can find a wide variety of fabrics at affordable prices makes this a viable option.

Sometimes I make my cloth myself, I get the material needed to make a particular style and give it out to my stylist to recreate the style I want, although this isn't cheap but it less expensive than the original style. And because I stay in a city where I can get any fabric of my choice and an affordable rate I don't hold back from buying.

Throughout this process, I prioritize modest and easy-to-care-for outfits, as I prefer to avoid unnecessary stress. For example, last year I was chosen as a bridesmaid, and the required style was a corset dress. To be honest, I never wanted a corset dress, but I made it to fulfill the bride's request.

I deeply regretted making that corset. I felt so constricted and uncomfortable that I could barely breathe. 😔 The dress still hangs in my wardrobe, and I have no plans to wear it again. I intend to give it out.

Yes, I enjoy being creative with my wardrobe by mixing and matching clothes and colors to stay stylish and on-trend.

I got the inspiration of this wear from Pinterest, and everyone likes it on me.

I also prioritize purchasing quality pieces for special occasions to ensure I look presentable. I've learned that investing in a few high-quality, durable items is better than buying numerous cheap, disposable ones.

I like to enhance my outfits with accessories, which bring them to life and add a touch of class.

I feel confident in my own outfits, and being content with what I have prevents me from going into debt trying to emulate others. I don't borrow clothes; instead, I compliment those who look good in their own style.
I just like to look simple, neat and smell nice.

The secret

One helpful tips that has help me stay fashionable over time is : Plan outfits in advance to avoid impulse purchases. Set a clothing budget to stay on track. Research brands and their sustainability practices. And yes, Pinterest has been incredibly helpful
