Words are powerful. I love the way these tiny pieces of alphabets come together to create some beautiful and transforming books. That's what I love about being a writer.
WHO AM I?
I was born on the 26th of May into a family of 5. I am the last of the 5 children of my parents. I grew up alone at home with my parents. It wasn't possible to have a close relationships between my siblings and I because my siblings are older than me by a 14, 13, 11, and 9 year age gap. So, by the time, I was in primary and secondary school, my siblings have already established their base in different careers and cities. It wasn't all fun being alone with no one to play with until my cousin came to live with us.
I stumbled upon Hive due to my restlessness and frustration with our present government who is not making things easy for anyone. Nothing seems to be moving forward; students have been home since February due to an indefinite strike and the government have folded their hands unwilling to do anything. I graduated from the Federal Polytechnic Oko in May, as a graduate of Mass Communication and Journalism. Since I graduated, I have been handling small jobs here and there but it is not enough. It was due to this that I started surfing through the internet and came upon Hive, and I knew I had to sign up ASAP. No time to procastinate.
MY PERSONALITY
I am an ambivert; a personality mixture of extrovert and introvert.
Sometimes, I am fully if life, in the face, ready to move on to the next thing. At times, I just want to shut the world out, curl up in my bed with the book I reading, listen to music, laugh at silly comedies, just be with myself and no one to disturb me.
MY SKILLS
I am content writer and a social media manager.
I am a content writer first and foremost, who creates compelling content for my clients that increases user/audience engagement and drive traffic to their sites.
As a social media manager, I help my clients build an online presence and gain visibility across social media platforms.
I thrive in team work, one eager to contribute and learn from different people.
WHY AM I HERE?
I am on Hive to improve my writing skills, build my authority as a blogger, and if making money comes as a bonus, who am I to complain?🤷 Differently not me.
I hope to make friends here, and also learn from the diverse background stories made here.
