You are right, our ideas and or thoughts about weddings may have been influenced by media or attending real events. And whilst some prefer grand or extravagant ones, others like it more intimate and low key.
I imagined your ideal wedding to be lovely and being able to share the moment with 40 guests sounds nice and more personal than having hundreds around. I wish you the best and it will be interesting to know when the time comes if your dream has changed or stayed :)
