Hello everyone, throughout my life, I've had moments that have meant a lot. I keep some of them in my mind as beautiful memories filled with emotion, and there are a few others I've been able to save and capture in photos or videos, which, when I look at them, usually bring a little tear to my eye. I usually keep these on my phone, stored on one of my social media accounts, since that's where I usually post things like this the most. I don't usually post much (well, not so much based on what I do every day, although I've been thinking about it lately). So, when I saw the questions @marivic10 brought us for this weekly contest, I wanted to dust off some of them to share with you.
Share a photo with everyone, one of your favorites, and tell us the story of that day. Why is it so important to you? What does it mean to you?
I have many photos that, indirectly, even if they look normal and peaceful, have represented progress in me. I already know something new that I learned, like when I started with gel nails and learning about nail squares and such, so I used to upload photos where my hands were in a discreet pose or others where I put my love for photography and nature to good use through landscapes and colors that I captured, which I really enjoyed. I'm not usually into family photos, and unfortunately I don't have many; I'd say I prefer the occasional satirical photo with my sister, which we enjoy, but something that has had meaning for me has been the photos with my pets over the years, which are always beautiful moments that I want to preserve.
And that's why I'm going to share some photos I took a few years ago with my cat, Bichi. He was with me for two years, and during that time we shared unique moments, and he was one of the greatest companions I've ever had. I've already talked about him in previous posts, as he was and still is a very important part of my life. I always used to take pictures of him, and he was very photogenic. There are two occasions that were captured in a moment that is still strong today.
The first was during a time when he was just starting to leave the house to explore like any other kitten, so I used to keep an eye on him for a bit. It had been a while since my parents had moved back in, so both he and I were starting to get used to the environment: me because I was back, and him because he was the youngest in the house (he arrived very young). That's when I discovered how photogenic he was. He would take out his phone and stay still while I took the picture; he would come close to the phone and even meow for me to take the picture, and from there, some very beautiful photos came out that day, capturing that memory as something beautiful.
The second moment was a day when I wasn't feeling well emotionally, so I used to record TikToks to clear my mind or practice doing makeup (I even cut my hair a little), and this kitten was always there to cuddle and come closer to make me feel better. And while I was taking a picture, he perched on top of the chair, so we had a moment for some humorous photos, which I loved and changed my mood that day, making me completely happy and being my favorite photos of him.

Makeup is part of a time when I wanted to learn how to do many things. Like any girl, I experimented with it in my teens, going through the typical moments of using foundation lighter than my skin tone, having my eyeliner smudged in the rain, or buying the wrong lipstick, or having eyebrows that were too thin or too thick. But it was during the pandemic, while I was starting out on social media recording TikToks with various themes and living alone, that I began to take learning and practicing seriously.
I remember even selling makeup, which helped me understand more and learn, having a taste for elaborate eyeliners or eyeshadows with specific themes. I also tried my hand at costumes and learned about makeup and proper eyebrow shapes. And after a while, I created some makeup looks that I posted on Instagram along with some videos.
Since I've always liked to radically change the shape of my hair, I tried to make it match the makeup, so it even worked for impromptu cosplays and anything that would help me improve and give more personality to the videos I made. I didn't have a routine as such; I just put into practice what I was learning and tried not to use too many products since, suffering from acne, I tried to be careful. Currently, I rarely wear makeup, since I'm treating my acne and haven't put any products on my face in a long time, and when I do, it's very little and only for a short while. However, I do tend to only wear makeup on my eyes, since I still maintain my love for eyeliner.
Yes, I do plan to try makeup again, but later, when my skin is more under control, and then I'll try something more elaborate. So, this is my small contribution to these proposed questions, hoping you enjoy it, and inviting you to participate.

Hola a todos, a lo largo de mi vida he tenido momentos que han significado mucho; algunos los guardo en mi mente como un recuerdo bonito y que desborda emociones, y hay otros pocos que he podido guardar y capturar en fotos o videos, los cuales al ver suele hacer que salga incluso una pequeña lágrima en mí. Estos suelo tenerlos en mi teléfono, en alguna de mis redes sociales almacenados, ya que es donde más solía colocar cosas de este estilo, ya que no soy de postear mucho, bueno, no tanto en base a relatar lo que haga a diario, aunque lo he estado pensando últimamente). Por eso, al ver las preguntas que nos trae @marivic10 para este concurso semanal, quise desempolvar alguno de estos para compartir con ustedes.
Comparte una foto con todos, una de tus favoritas, y cuéntanos la historia de ese día. ¿Por qué es tan importante para ti? ¿Qué significa para ti?
Tengo muchas fotos que, indirectamente, aunque se vean normales y tranquilas, han representado avances en mí. Ya sé algo nuevo que aprendí, como por ejemplo cuando empecé con el mundo de las uñas de gel y a conocer sobre el cuadrado de las uñas y demás, por lo que solía subir fotos donde estaban mis manos en alguna pose discreta o en otras donde ponía en práctica mi gusto por la fotografía y la naturaleza a través de paisajes y colores que captaba y lo cual disfrutaba mucho. No suelo ser de fotos familiares y lastimosamente no tengo muchas; diría que soy más de alguna foto con mi hermana en plan sátira, lo cual disfrutamos, pero algo que sí ha tenido significado para mí han sido las fotos con mis mascotas a lo largo de los años, los cuales siempre son hermosos momentos que quiero preservar.
Y por eso les compartiré unas fotos que hace algunos años con mi gato Bichi el cual estuvo conmigo 2 años y en ese tiempo compartimos momentos únicos y fue una de las más grandes compañías que he tenido. Ya he hablado en post anteriores de él ya que significó y aún significa una parte muy importante de mi vida, por lo que siempre solía tomarle fotos y tenía la característica de que era muy fotogénico, por lo que hay dos ocasiones que quedaron retratadas en un momento que aún sigue fuerte.
La primera fue durante una temporada en que empezaba a salir de la casa a explorar como todo gatito, por lo que yo solía vigilarlo un poco. Tenía algo de tiempo desde que había vuelto a vivir a la casa mis padres, por lo que tanto él como yo comenzábamos a acostumbrarnos al entorno: yo por regresar y él por ser el más pequeño de la casa (el cual llegó muy chiquito), por lo que ese día fue cuando descubrí lo fotogénico que era. Sacaba el teléfono y se quedaba quito mientras tomaba la foto; se acercaba al teléfono e incluso me maullaba para que tomara la foto y de allí salieron unas fotos muy hermosas ese día, captando ese recuerdo como algo lindo.
El segundo momento fue un día que no me encontraba bien emocionalmente, por lo que solía grabar TikToks para despejar la mente o practicar maquillaje (incluso mi cabello lo cortaba un poco) y este gatito siempre estaba allí para mimos y se acercaba para que me sintiera mejor. Y mientras me tomaba una foto, se colocó en la parte de arriba de la silla, por lo que salió un momento para fotos con algo de humor, las cuales amé y me cambiaron el ánimo ese día, alegrándome por completo y siendo mis fotos favoritas de él.

El maquillaje forma parte de una época en que quería aprender a hacer muchas cosas. Como cualquier chica, experimenté con él en la adolescencia, pasando por los típicos momentos de la base más clara que el tono de piel o que la lluvia te corriera todo el lápiz de ojos o comprar un labial que no era o el de las cejas o muy delgadas o muy grandes. Pero fue en la temporada de pandemia cuando, mientras iniciaba en redes grabando tiktoks con diversas temáticas y mientras vivía sola, comencé a tomar en serio el aprender y practicar.
Recuerdo que incluso vendí maquillaje, lo cual me ayudó a comprender más y a aprender, teniendo un gusto por los delineados elaborados o las sombras con temáticas específicas . También estuve intentando algo para disfraces y aprendí sobre el maquillaje y formas correctas de las cejas. Y luego de mucho, realicé algunos maquillajes que fui posteando en Instagram a la par de algunos videos.
Como siempre he tenido gusto por cambiar la forma de mi cabello radicalmente, trataba de que estuviera acorde con el maquillaje, por lo que incluso me sirvió para cosplays improvisados y todo lo que me ayudara a mejorar y a darle mejor personalidad a los videos que realizaba. No tenía una rutina como tal, solo ponía en práctica lo que iba aprendiendo y trataba de no usar muchos productos ya que, al sufrir de acné, trataba de ser cuidadosa. Actualmente no me suelo maquillar casi, ya que estoy tratando el acné y no he puesto productos en la cara desde hace mucho y cuando lo hago es muy poco y un ratito; sin embargo, sí suelo maquillar solo mis ojos, ya que aún mantengo el gusto por delineados.
Sí pienso volver a practicar maquillaje, pero más adelante, cuando mi piel esté más controlada, y así volver a practicar algo más elaborado. Y bueno, este es mi pequeño aporte a estas preguntas propuestas, esperando que les guste mucho, eh, invitándolos a participar.
