I have been made to tell this story countless of times by my friends in secondary, but I had never told the true story to anybody. Funny as it sounds am so excited to tell the truth behind my first Emotional Crush for the first time.

I am @irene99 and I'm happy to take you back to the year, when it all began.

Brief Introduction of my school

Some years ago my school Ojo junior high school was that which gave parents mixed feelings. In my school you would see and experience the good, bad, and ugly.

In my Junior secondary 1-3 I had experienced scheduled fights countless of times. On one faithful day we where told to come with a change of cloth, that some schools where coming to fight our school over a football match we won against them. How this gets to everyone without the school authority finding out is still a mystery, it always starts as a rumour and finally it becomes a reality.
As at that time fighting was a common furtures amongs Government Owned secondary schools.

The main reason why I started with the above story, is to let us know how unreasonable it was to be talking about crushing on anybody in such an environment.
One of the most amazing thing about my school them was that we had one of the best minds both as teachers and students.

I came into the school with a lot of determinations and optimism. I never allowed my self to be distracted for any reason.

Class Division

The classes where divided into Jss1a, Jss1b, Jsa1c. I was in A while my Crush (George) was in B. He was as at that time, The brightest in his class and I was also in my class. So once in a while we would have a joint class which usually leads to quiz and of course he would represent his class and i would represent mine. On several occasions the both of us had represented our school in interschool competitions.

When It all Started

As time goes on, we became fond of each other and like they say, like minds attracts. All of a sudden student started to blow the whole thing out of proportion. This made me very uncomfortable around him.
The hight of it was one day at the school notice board, someone went and wrote Jovita Wed Gorge , From that day onward students started calling Gorge as a way of mocking me because they know how pissed i get each time they called me that.

Fast forward down to Senior secondary school, me and Gorge became Enemy. I Refuse to accept what everybody is saying and I also disagree with what ever it is I felt. From Jss3 when poeple decided to conclude for us, down to my Ss3 in 2008 I never spoke to Him and I avioded him at all cost.

Soon, I gained admission into Imo State university and we met gain, and when we tried to understand what really happend those years, there was no sense in the decisions We took or better still the decisions I took.

Anyways I guess kids would be kids, that was the only logical action I could take as at that time because it was very embarrassing for them to say I had a feeling for a guy at that age

Conclusion

I know some might relate with this and others might find this story funny, but which ever way, i would want to know If you where in my shoes, would you have done anything diferrently or would you have done the same thing.
