While holding this flower when taking this picture reminded me of the beauty of resilience. even when bruised, we still find different way to bloom again. For a while, I’ve been absent from the Hive community, and I owe you all an explanation, though it might not be necessary but atleast for the few friends i have come across in this community.
Recently, I fell sick and had to be admitted to the hospital. It wasn’t just my health that took a hit, my ability to write and engage with the community was affected too. As the medical bills piled up and I don't want to be a liability to my friend, i had to make use of all possible ways to sort myself out and i even discovered that i could convert my Hive power to Hive just to cover the cost of drugs and other essentials and i actually did that but i realized today tagt my voting power has drastically reduced because of this.
I got out of the hospital this week and the picture of me holding flower was my first picture, I’m holding a flower in my hand as I write this, and it feels symbolic. Just like the flower, I’m starting fresh. After everything I’ve been through, I’m ready to come back to my normal life and going back to work from next week and hopefully start writing and contributing to the Hive community. It feels like picking up the pieces of my life again, slowly but surely i will get back on track.
I’ve missed doing what i normally do like cooking my favorite food, walking through my street at night just to feel the night breeze, going to my favorite restaurants, watching my favorite movie and not to forget being a part of the Hive, reading other people’s posts, sharing my thoughts, and staying connected.
This few weeks i have not been myself, i realize that sometimes life can take unexpected turns, and we have to deal with them the best way we can and make sure we get back on our feet because if not, we might struggle with it throughout our life time. But just like the flower, even after difficult times, there’s always a chance to bloom again, here I'm trying to bloom once again.
