Lets Create & Share Stories of Strength, Innovation, and Community in Web3

We are a few days away from March 8th, International Women's Day.
International Women's Day (IWD) was officially established in 1910 and first celebrated in 1911.
This is a very important day and originated from the labor and women’s rights movements of the early 20th century.
It was 1908 when around 15,000 women marched through New York City to demand better working conditions, voting rights, and fair pay.
Clara Zetkin, a German activist was inspired and proposed the idea of an International day for Women.
The first official International Women's Day was celebrated on March 19, 1911, in Austria, Denmark, Germany, and Switzerland.
The date was later changed to March 8th in 1913, and the United Nations officially recognized the day in 1975. Since then, it has grown into a global movement celebrating women’s achievements and advocating for gender equality.
This day, International Women’s Day is celebrated globally and values the achievements, resilience, and contributions of women in fields from science and politics to arts and technology.
To this day, women continue to break barriers and shape the world.
In the blockchain and crypto space, women are making remarkable progress - leading projects, being in the academic field, developing applications, fostering communities, and the list goes on.
On Hive, women creators are proving that Web3 is for everyone, building financial independence and thriving in a decentralized ecosystem.
This day should remind us, not only to celebrate progress but to strive to make sure that equality, visibility, and opportunities in all sectors is achieved.
This day gave me an idea :)
It would be amazing if we could create some of our stories and share them with the world! We can then create an Album with curated stories and perhaps send them to some of the crypto news outlets!
What I suggest:
We can either create posts answering any of the below questions and I can also create a google form so that you can share it online. (Even though I think it is better to publish directly on-chain)
You can check these queries and let me know if you want to add something!
Personal & Crypto Journey
- Please introduce yourself. (Name or username, where you’re from, and a little about yourself)
- When and how did you first hear about cryptocurrency?
- What was your first impression of crypto? Did it seem exciting, confusing, or something else?
- When did you discover the Hive blockchain, and what made you join?
Experience on Hive
- What do you do on Hive? (e.g., blogging, gaming, curating, developing, community-building, etc.)
- What do you love the most about Hive?
- Have you faced any challenges while being on Hive? If so, how did you overcome them?
- Do you think being a woman in the blockchain/crypto space is different from other fields? Why or why not?
- Have you found support or a sense of community among women on Hive?
- What is your most memorable or proudest moment on Hive so far?
Empowerment & Advice
- What advice would you give to women who are new to Hive or thinking about joining?
- Do you believe blockchain and crypto can empower women? If yes, how?
- If you could change or improve one thing about Hive to make it even better for women, what would it be?
- What are your goals for the future—both on Hive and beyond?
Personal Touch
- Describe Hive in three words.
- If Hive were a woman, what kind of personality would she have?
- Any final thoughts or message you’d like to share for International Women’s Day?
Admiration & Role Models
- Do you have a role model—inside or outside of Hive—who has influenced your journey?
- What qualities do you admire most in the women who inspire you?
- Have you met or interacted with a woman on Hive who has positively impacted you? How?
- What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received from a woman?
Let me know your thoughts of that, we could create a nice campaign and share success stories and role models!

Absolutely, @katerinaramm. International Women's Day is such an important occasion to honor the achievements, resilience, and contributions of women worldwide. Clara Zetkin's vision has truly paved the way for celebrating women across various fields.
Your idea to share stories and create an album is fantastic! It would be wonderful to highlight the journeys, experiences, and successes of women in the blockchain and crypto space, showcasing how they're breaking barriers and making a difference.
