I just could not resist hopping on this week’s Ladies of Hive challenge. The questions by @kerrislravenhill are so thoughtful and interesting.

I used to read genuine paperbacks before Hive and I couldn’t help taking a quick glance of the latest titles on my Grocer’s magazine rack. While the front cover may catch my eye, the back cover’s synopsis is what hooks me to buying the novel.

👆

This first question especially, caught my heart and I thought, who none other than the great @thegrabber to give a befitting synopsis?

The grabber, Aliey Abbas. With fingers stretched so long almost like insatiable gnarling vines from an ancient oak, he grasps with all his might any ray of shimmering light or dying ember. Like the last stroke of life, he gently nurtures a tiny spark into a ferocious volcano. Then that grin, an almost sinister satisfaction spreads from his face to his feet and makes him dance to the rhythm that nature brings forth.

Aliey is a young dreamer. He calls himself ‘wanderlust’ but I like to think of him as a ‘restless soul.’ His spirit yearns for an adventure and his feet dance to the clarion call. As he voyages through enchanting towns, villages forgotten in time, and urban cities filled with burgeoning dreams, the grabber pens his escapades in dripping ink.

He saves vivid memories in the crisp pixels of his camera. Each click he makes tells a story of courage and discovery. In his unending quest for knowledge, Aliey writes a book titled, The Antidote to a Toxic Life, where he ushers us into his illuminating world as he dissects life in its rawest form.

The world is now a playground for this brilliant artist, adventurer, writer, and philanthropist. As he sits at the edge of a new horizon with a deep gaze, he holds his pen in one hand and a camera in the other. With deep piercing eyes, Aliey is eager for the next phase of discovery one word and pixel at a time.

A sweet opening paragraph that had me almost picturing this Hivian as bigger than life blogger...but he hasn't been active lately, perhaps he's living out his adventures now before sharing it to the Hive community. I shall wait patiently.
Thanks @kei2 🏍⛑
