Originally I took up a basic self defense course at a local community center then aikido before going into the art of Kenjutsu , Japanese sword arts. I am enamoured with the tradition, art and ritual around the traditional Samurai weapon called a Katana. I am currently studying the style of Katori Shinto ryu. And like most Samurai, I named my Iaido katana "Fang", 40 inches of Badass 1040 Carbon steel.

No wonder, it's nice to be around you.
"Ronin" would be a more accurate term, that is a Samurai without a Lord to serve under. Independent as the Bloody Raven is (Karasu in Japanese) she still serves an unknown master realizing it or not.
Because Singer Bob Dylan said, "It may be the devil, or it may be the Lord but you got to serve somebody"
waooo.... you are great.... I love the name of your katana.... I imagine your friends are safe when they go for a walk together.
A forty inch katana isn't exactly 'Open Carry' so I will get stopped by police if I were carrying FANG out in the open.
