It is a typical hypothetical situation, but very real and stressful to those that experience it.
Prevention is the best policy.
There is protocol in account recovery in place but not everyone may be aware of it. Time will be the essence, and proof of identity will be needed.
The process begins by clicking the right top corner of the Hive.blog menu and selecting the 'Stolen Accounts Recovery' tab.
You're right when you say not everyone would know about it because I just discovered right now.
I can only imagine how they feel. All their days if hardwork.
