Growing fast-out-of-the-clothes-as-soon-as-you-can-get-them stage. I got plenty of clothes ahead of time, many second hand or traded with other mothers in my community and church. That led to big piles of laundry, come to think of it, with my adult sons still home with me, the piles hardly shrunk at all. ❤️
