It is exhausting to fit into social norms and expectations. I deliberately chose a Gothic subculture lifestyle years ago as a personal protest against it. It does have it own Norms, expectations, and appropriate irony but it's the individual inside that what matters. Our choice and only our choice. And I need a good long hot shower and feeling good for it.
